The US lost to Belgium at the World Cup, but Donald Trump walked away with a ring.
Just before the US was knocked out of the World Cup on Monday amid controversy from alleged White House meddling, President Trump was gifted a “Super Bowl”-sized ring — complete with special “Superman” logos, big diamond T’s and a presidential seal — that was gifted to him in Brussels!
Days before The Donald ruffled Belgian football fans’ feathers by getting involved in FIFA politics — he was gifted the custom-made 18-carat gold ring with 321 diamonds, 56 sapphires, 13 emeralds and six rubies at a packed Brussels park to celebrate the USA’s 250th anniversary.
(Trump was not at the event in person, but appeared via video we hear.)
The ceremony was part of a celebration for America’s 250th anniversary in Brussels’ Cinquantenaire Parc, where we’re told up to 10,000 showed up to watch a concert by the Zac Brown Band.
Trump’s loyal Ambassador to Belgium, Bill White, hosted the event, which was also attended by Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever, US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, US Ambassador to the EU Andrew Puzder and EU Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
They “all gave emotional toasts on stage together to show absolute unity between the US and Belgium, NATO and the EU,” said an international spy. Attendees also included Bryan Eure.
