The 1898 Supreme Court case United States v. Wong Kim Ark is the landmark ruling that established birthright citizenship in the U.S. The Court decided 6-2 that the 14th Amendment's Citizenship Clause guarantees citizenship to almost anyone born on U.S. soil, regardless of their parents' nationality or immigration status.

All the USSC did in this latest case is uphold existing law.

>Trump announces long-shot bid to get Supreme Court to rehear birthright citizenship case

>President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he would make a long-shot bid to get the Supreme Court to rehear the case in which it ruled against his executive order that sought to sharply restrict birthright citizenship.

In 1898, the U.S. Supreme Court established that anyone born on American soil is automatically a U.S. citizen. The landmark case United States v. Wong Kim Ark confirmed birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment.

The Court decided that the phrase "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" in the 14th Amendment applied to all individuals born in the United States, regardless of their parents' nationality or immigration status. The only exceptions to this rule are children born to foreign diplomats or invading forces.

What Trump and his order did was trying to violate rights under color of law… which is a crime.

An amendment can't remove a constitutionally protected right, as that itself is a violation of the constitution. Our rights are unalienable.

Trumps order violated rights under color of law… a federal crime.

No he's playing a villian… you're supposed to be standing up for freedom, not agreeing with tyranny and the violation of the constitution because your "side" is winning.

They couldn't just tell us, they had to show us.

Birthright citizenship is law, it is in the constitution and it has been upheld multiple times by the USSC… yet many are actively conspiring against that right and the US Constitution.

That makes zero difference according to their ruling, and the recent ruling.

There is no debate, there is only rebellion against the constitutional authority of the United States.

Wrong… it applies to anyone born on US soil except the children of foreign dignitaries or invading forces. IT has been ruled on by the USSC as such multiple times.

What I know is you are conspiring against the constitutional authority of the United States and the constitutionally protected rights of citizens.

Tempters gonna tempt.

To deprive rights under color of law?

Again, a right cannot be removed with an amendment. Our rights are unalienable, and even if the 14th amendment was removed, it's still an established right and would be covered under the 9th amendment.
