US launches new strikes on Iran over Hormuz attacks

• NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said new US attacks on Iran were “absolutely necessary” after Washington accused Tehran of violating the ceasefire.
•Trump said he did not think full-fledged conflict with Iran would resume after military strikes by both sides.

Trump says US hit Iran 'much harder' after ship attacks
US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday aboard Air Force One that the US responded with force after Iran attacked three ships, sayingWashington had hit back “much harder” than the initial strikes.
Trump said the US would respond at a ratio of “20 to one” whenever Iran attacks, adding that the latest US action was in retaliation for the previous night’s incident.

Iranian lawmaker says US will face ‘powerful’ response for attacks
Iranian lawmaker Morteza Mahmoudi said on Wednesday the US would receive a “powerful” response for what he called its attacks on Iran in recent nights. In a post on X, Mahmoudi praised Iranian forces and criticized officials he said had placed their hopes in promises from "the country’s enemies."
"Undoubtedly, America will receive a decisive response to the crimes it committed tonight and last night. Pray for the warriors and defenders of our country who stand with their lives on the line in the midst of the battlefield, protecting these borders and lands, and for the guidance of those officials who have pinned their hopes on the enemy's promises," Mahmoudi said.

Hardline influencer urges Iran to strike Israel, Persian Gulf states after attacks
Hardline influencer Davood Modaresian on Wednesday called for retaliatory strikes against Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar after what he said were attacks on four Iranian provinces.

Chabahar maritime traffic control tower damaged in US strike- IRGC
The maritime traffic control tower at the Chabahar Free Zone was damaged in a US strike on Chabahar on Wednesday, the IRGC said on its Telegram channel, citing the zone’s chief executive Mohammad-Saeid Arbabi.
The IRGC also said one of the free zone’s warehouses was targeted, while services and vehicle unloading operations at the facilities continued.
