Argentina are under investigation from the FBI in a stunning World Cup development.

The South American nation have not been far from controversy on the pitch during the tournament.

And a report from La Nacion has revealed they are now being probed by the FBI after the Argentinian FA (AFA) moved more than $430 million to banks and companies in the US.

It is understood the FBI investigation is exploring whether the transactions may have broken US law by concealing potentially illicit funds and their purpose.
