>Is the datacenter a ruse to usher in mini nuclear reactors thru private companies to power the USA

Anon was just thinking this yesterday.

Decentralizing the grid.

Another thing habbening is car makers are changing from battery powered to the equivalent of a diesel electric train.

Small engine turns generator, generator powers motors at wheels, and puts extra into smaller battery.

Cars would have all the benefits of an EV, the range of a gas vehicle, but could also act as a generator to power your house.

A pickup could make 1000 lb*ft of torque with the equivalent of a model T engine.

It would just need a big enough battery to help it up a mountain, and absorb the braking energy going down the other side.

>If I had an abundance of money I would just give a chunk of money to someone who really needs it once in a while

The problem with giving away money is not doing harm in the process.

> I haven't lent money to someone in long time expecting to be paid back. I lend it because they need it or I feel they are deserving of it in some way.

Anon avoids the money angle, and just gives help.

Someone had a flat tire at the end of the drive a few days ago, and anon whipped out a jack and a t-bar.

Guy tried to pay anon, but just said to put the money toward a new tire.

It's amazing how many people can't even handle a flat tire these days

anon isn't wizard, just a guy who has had enough flats to keep basic survival shit in the back of the chore truck

>in the back of the chore truck

and now anon sounds like an elitist for having moar than a commuter car

farmer types can't win in the culture war.

Have four trucks because four makes sense.

An old beater that gets every mile possible

A low mile chore truck that will hopefully last forever

A one-ton that gets about 500 miles a year

And a quarter ton that's basically a road legal UTV.

Every one of them makes sense to own, but some jelly asshole (and insurance agent) will always question them.
