Lame bait but how about…

Satan comes from ancient Greek Ha-Satan, meaning "opponent" or "adversary"

Christians took off the "Ha" part, and gave Evil a Name

Then decided to give it horns, and the cloven feet of Bacchus/Pan and thus Form

Then decided it was to blame for all their own faults or anything Nature did that was not to their liking, so gave it Power

Congrats, you did collective Spell Casting

>why don't morbidly obese vaping cows have to pay 10 times as much for health insurance?

Normally Underwriters would not even allow coverage but bipedal water buffalo get classified as "handicapped" (or is it still "handicapable?") and thus get coverage

USN experience. We used to have little charts at the consoles in case of a Man Overboard situation. Beachgoers get the shallows but the real briny deep starts immediately on that whole "equilibrium" thing where the 98.6F body tries to heat 72F or lower water.

>why can't we make clothing for sailors that is actually inflatable

Adds bulk and storage space is tight. Adds weight and don't wanna spend every underway day soaked in sweat. Shit won't last forever and the "uniform allowance" is a joke

Again, the bulk, daily wear and replacement costs per sailor for new uniforms makes it a no-go idea. There's the initial Uniform Issue, some circumstances where a simple Form gets the USN to replace a damaged uniform (at the will of the notorious Supply System0 and then for the most part new uniform items are pay out of pocket. See the current Military Pay chart and understand lower ranking Enlisted simply can't afford them

Pic is a Berthing compartment. That one is aboard former USS Midway. Forrestal-class carriers, Spruance-class destroyers, and Perry-class frigates were the same way, I know from experience. The "mattress" is on a metal lid that flips up for access to where uniforms are stored. the stand-up lockers are tiny as well. Storage space available means not happening. No junior sailor can afford to buy a $1k replacement

I'm speaking from practical experience. Do tell, are the sailors supposed to wear these expensive uniforms every day for an entire six month deployment? There's a saying around QR… "imagine the smell"

I don't know who the "they" is you refer to abut taking your advice, but I can only hope that is generally discarded, otherwise "they" need discarded

What I "sound like" to you does not bother me. I've told you the real world issues with your idea regarding a shipboard environment. You can try to take credit for anything you wish, does not mean I believe your inputs had any effect on military operations.

Done debating an idiot that won't listen
