Politicians aren't voting against it- they're not allowing a vote at all. They can say they support it but won't push to get it to a vote. That way they don't have to publicly show which side they're on- they think.
Not pushing the SAVE act indicates you may benefit from vote fraud. It's likely how you got in Congress in the first place. It means you will enable the "voting" in of communists by disabling the SAVE act.
