A Texas hospital is under investigation after appearing to advertise maternity packages to pregnant foreign nationals along the U.S.-Mexico border.
The investigation follows reports of a billboard promoting births starting at $4,000 and a now-removed website marketing the hospital's services.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has directed state agencies to investigate for possible legal violations, while the hospital says it does not support or facilitate any unlawful activity and has removed the marketing materials.
