Why is this important?

The succession plan within the DOJ is a bit complicated … but its all part of the plan. The Vacancies Reform Act of 1998 comes into play along with special DOJ succession rules.

Brand’s temporary successor (Acting Assistant AG) is her principal deputy Jesse Panuccio. He has not been confirmed by the Senate. The Vacancies Reform Act allows the president to nominate someone else to fill this position for up to 210 days. This countdown began on February 20, 2018 and the 210 day clock is still ticking - time will expire on September 18, 2018.

Can a Trump nominee be confirmed by the Senate before 9/18? Unlikely. Plus Trump has made no move to nominate anyone. Panuccio is in a temporary position and he is not senate confirmed.

Under the DOJ’s own Succession Statute and guidelines for implementing that law (ironically issued by LL in 2016) Brand would be replaced in this line of succession by Solicitor General Noel Francisco.

Guess who was nominated (and confirmed by the senate in a narrow vote of 50-47) to the position of Solicitor General BEFORE Rachel Brand left for Walmart? That's right, Noel Francisco. Do you see this brilliant chess move within the plan? Ironically, it is LL's own 2016 rules that allowed this move.

Sessions recused himself to help maintain the "optics" - working behind the scenes to prepare tens of thousands of indictments with Huber hard at work with his 470 investigators reporting directly to him (not [RR]). Q has simultaneously been building Trump's army of Patriots over many months - marginalizing the MSM and slowly taking control of the narrative day by day. Trump-nominated Noel Francisco is another key chess piece that was moved into position nearly one year ago to take [RR] in a very patient and masterful chess move.

The midterms are key, and this brilliant strategy has been designed to play out by 9/18.
