Yes, they fucking are. I see it every day. MF'ers buying shit they don't need with money they don't have to impress other MF'ers doing the same thing who don't care about them.
It never occurs to them to drive a 20 year old beater. These dumb MF'ers buy an $80k truck then toss the wheels, tires, bumpers, lights etc and put $20k worth of upgrades on the truck that was only worth $60k at best the moment they drove it off the lot.
I've never had a car newer that 20 years old. I was approved for $225,000 house and bought a shitty little house for $76,000 instead. We never eat phast phood, only eat out every two months, have no cable or satellite TV, make coffee at home, buy raw meats, fruits and veg and turn that into meals. We eat leftovers 5 days a week and much more. Is it fun? No. Does it impress our friends? Don't care. We are however debt free, our retirement is paid for and we live below our means.
I actually think gen z is going to do just fine because the deep state is being destroyed.
Trouble is the media sells them this image of who they are supposed to be while the education system fails to teach them anything useful.
I'm not satisfied with it.
