Wonder if the Air Canada plane and CN Tower are supposed to suggest another airline incident in a major city some time ago.
Interesting that they are leading with withdrawing students…?

>The Saudi Arabia government plans to withdraw all Saudi students studying at Canadian universities, colleges and other schools in retaliation for Canada criticizing the Islamic kingdom’s human rights record.
>A Saudi government source, who wasn’t authorized to speak publicly on the matter, said there are approximately 20,000 Saudis here on scholarships, grants or in trainee programs. This number doesn’t include family members accompanying them.
>The Saudi students – and their tuitions – will be moved to study programs in other countries with similar education systems, such as the United Kingdom, the Saudi official said.
>This punitive action is being levied on Canada by Saudi Arabia after Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland and her department last week publicly called for the immediate release of civil rights activists in the Mideast country and signaled concern over a new crackdown on dissidents by Riyadh.
>In response, Saudi Arabia expelled Canada's ambassador Sunday, recalled their ambassador and frozen new trade dealings with Canada, decrying what they called foreign interference in their domestic affairs.
I don't know, but it is hard to miss the symbolism.
