last year there was a big uproar in canada because we were selling SA amored personnel carriers that were being used in a "citizen crackdown and human rights violations". it was a 15 billion dollar deal when it was signed in 2014 with deliveries meant to last for years. but with "muh human rights violations" exporting was stopped, weakening SA's military capability and i would bet that SA already paid the whole bill. if thats the case than Iran, via proxy of Canada, embezzled 15 billion from SA. and now SA is fucking pissed. but i dont think this is all thats behind SA's drastic actions these past few days. it would be overkill, but something is up, this came outa the blue and Canada is going to suffer for it. these are strategic moves SA is making, its not just the usual boring rhetoric between two counties that dont agree on something. SA is attacking Canada's economy and its probably going to be the straw that breaks the camels back. inflation is already through the roof, minimum wage is now 15/hr, the housing bubble shoulda popped last year but its being squeezed for every possible dime because the bank of canada wont raise interest rates. we sell all of our abundant natural resources for pennies while citizens struggle to keep a full tank of gas in their car, oh and we have over 1 trillion in debt. Canada is in for some dark times, very dark times. its scary to think this is actually real life. i fucking hate my communist country.
