There was an account on X that said because GEOTUS declared himself a wartime president, he is still in his first term. The people will need to understand that before the next Presidential election, and then he will/won't run again. He said he would only stay until he was done with the project. But who knows, maybe he likes it and wants to hang around and experience what it is SUPPOSED to be like, rather than people trying to kill him all the time.
