India Blocks Mobile Internet In Central Delhi As Youth Protests Escalate
The Indian government has ordered telecom companies to disable mobile data services in central parts of the capital Delhi, in and around the site of youth protests seeking the resignation of the education minister, two sources told Reuters on Thursday.
The companies have complied with the order, Reuters sources said.
There was no mobile data connectivity in many parts of central Delhi on Thursday evening, Reuters journalists said.
Vendors, shopkeepers and restaurants complained that they were unable to accept digital payments.
India’s youth protesters have called for nationwide demonstrations on Friday even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government urged them to join talks, while shutting metro stations and mobile internet services and curtailing business in central Delhi.
The youth protesters, led by the self-named "Cockroach" Janta Party movement, have been camping in central Delhi since last month and are demanding the resignation of the education minister over leaks of medical school entrance test papers that affected some 2 million students in May and have been linked to several student suicides.
The protests have swelled into the biggest youth challenge to Modi since he came to power in 2014. Opposition parties have echoed the youth movement's demands and have disrupted the monsoon session of parliament that began this week.
It marks the biggest political crisis of Modi's third term, which began in 2024.
The government made a fresh appeal on Thursday to the protesters to join talks to resolve the crisis but they responded by calling for nationwide peaceful protests on Friday in solidarity with students who alleged police brutality during a march on parliament on Monday by tens of thousands of people.
Thousands of people had returned to the Jantar Mantar protest site by Thursday afternoon, carrying anti-government posters and chanting slogans amid heavy security deployment.
Protests also spread to other cities, including Ranchi, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Kolkata, local media reported.
Authorities in Delhi shut down 16 metro rail stations in and around the central parts of Delhi where the protesters have remained camped, inconveniencing thousands of commuters.
The government also ordered telecom firms to block mobile internet services in the area, sources told Reuters, a move that not only affected protesters but also stopped shops and restaurants from receiving digital payments by phone.

MI COUNTY CLERK DROPS BOMBSHELL: 1,062 NON-Citizens Found in Jury Pool List – 40 Are Registered to Vote In ONE County!
From January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, Forlini’s office identified more than 1,000 prospective jurors who self-reported that they are not U.S. citizens. Of those individuals, 40 were found registered to vote in Macomb County’s Qualified Voter File.
Five of them even have a voting history.
The Clerk’s Office referred these findings to the Michigan Bureau of Elections on January 13, April 28, and July 10, 2026.
In January 2026, The Gateway Pundit reported that Forlini had identified 239 non-citizens in the jury pool over just four months. Of those, 14 had been registered to vote at some point, and several appeared to have voting histories — including one who voted multiple times.
“It is unconscionable that this problem continues,” Forlini said. “To provide greater transparency, our office posts a running tally of these findings on our website so the public can stay informed and lawmakers can better understand the scope of the issue as they consider reforms.”
Under Michigan law, only U.S. citizens are eligible to vote or serve on a jury. Yet non-citizens continue to receive jury summonses because the jury pool is generated from the Secretary of State’s driver’s license database, which includes non-citizens.

Israel Firebombed a Family Home Where Children Were Sleeping in Latest Killing Spree
As the world focuses on the renewed U.S. war with Iran, Israel has killed nearly 60 Palestinians over the past week and moved to occupy close to 70 percent of Gaza.
The charred shell of the Al-Masri family home in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City was still smoldering on Tuesday afternoon, hours after the Israel military bombed it, killing Firas and Salsabeel al-Masri and their four children—Faryal, Salma, Amira and Naim—as they slept.
The airstrike came without warning in the middle of the night, destroying the upper floor of the simple two-story structure and setting it ablaze. “We were asleep in the middle of the night, at around 2 a.m. or so, when we heard a huge explosion,” Abu Youssef Al-Masri, the children’s grandfather, told Drop Site as he stood in front of the partially collapsed home. “We realized the house had been struck. The house collapsed and caught fire.”
The fire spared nothing inside, family belongings burnt to ash lay among broken cinder blocks, the walls that remained standing blackened with soot.
“The house burned completely. It was my brother’s home—he, his wife, and their four children. Burned until it was charred. My brother’s entire family has been erased,” Mohammed Al-Masri, the brother of Firas, said. “They burned before our eyes and we couldn’t do anything.” He spoke standing at the graveyard where the family of six were buried on Tuesday afternoon.
The bodies were carried by relatives wrapped in white shrouds through the rubble-strewn cemetery to be laid to rest. Abu Youssef stood in the middle of the shallow graves and placed the small body of his granddaughter, Amira, next to her mother as Israeli drones buzzed incessantly overhead. “The whole world is watching us,” Mohammed said. “There is no ceasefire in effect, the war hasn’t stopped, and no one cares about us.”
The attack on Tuesday came amid a particularly brutal and escalated Israeli assault across Gaza over the past several days as the world’s attention has been distracted by the renewed U.S. war with Iran. Daily airstrikes, shelling, quadcopter attacks, and shootings have targeted residential buildings, tent encampments, civilian vehicles, a funeral procession, a police station, and a hospital-turned-shelter, killing dozens of Palestinians across the enclave over the past week alone. At the same time, Israeli ground troops have been pushing further into Gaza, steadily extending the “yellow line” westward, taking more land, and driving the Palestinian population onto an ever-shrinking territory.
“It’s not simply that the resumption of the war in Iran provides cover, it’s also the fact that the war has largely been a failure from an Israeli perspective, and the Israeli state will look to compensate for this failure elsewhere before a new regional balance takes shape,” Nasser Abourahme, a professor of Middle Eastern and North African Studies at Bowdoin College, told Drop Site. “It’s most important to remember that the genocide itself has both stalled and never stopped. For all the horrific and unprecedented destruction and death, Israel hasn’t yet achieved any of its core aims: the ethnic cleansing of the Strip, the disarming of the resistance factions, or the resettlement of the Strip.”
The latest killing spree has brought the Palestinian death toll in Gaza since a so-called ceasefire went into effect in October 2025 to 1,180—including over 250 children—with 127 being killed in the first three weeks of July. Over 3,800 have been injured. The total recorded death toll since Israel launched its genocidal assault in October 2023 is now over 73,300 killed, with nearly 174,000 injured, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
