Look, I'm gonna say this one time, I actually DO feel sorry for the guy, simply because he's been a regular figure in my waking up over the years. Learned long ago though to take what he says with a grain of salt, and never sent him a dime. YET, just like any old friend that fucks himself over, I'd still say the same that he brought it on himself. A real friend should be honest like that. He sold out (long long ago) touched a 3rd rail, no one should be shocked that he got shocked.
Having said that, I can't go with the narrative that he's being targeted, and others are next. THAT fear tactic, is what I have an issue with more than anything else.
Nothing lasts for ever, and if it's his time to move on, it's time. If not, he'll recover. Either way, life goes on.
