-President Trump switched aircraft before departing Türkiye earlier this month after U.S. officials assessed there was a credible threat from Iranian proxy forces targeting him and Air Force One, according to NYT.
-The intelligence indicated Trump and whatever aircraft he was traveling on were the targets, rather than the new jet specifically. The threat was also separate from intelligence provided by Israel.
-The details were closely held within the administration, with some officials told only that the aircraft change was a precaution linked to concerns about Iran. Key members of Congress were not briefed on the specific threat.
