Plot Thickens – New Jersey Data Contractor Says Noncitizens Registering to Vote Not Our Error

July 25, 2026 | Sundance |

The contractor responsible for the software used by the New Jersey Dept of Motor Vehicles to uplink voter registration to the state elections office is now saying their software did not cause 6,600 illegal aliens to be registered voters.

Someone in New Jersey government had to create that link to register the voters.

The USA Today has responsesfrom IDEMIA, a France-based company that provides technology for issuing identity documents also used by 36 different states.

• […] IDEMIA spokeswoman Lisa Shoemaker told USA TODAY on July 23 that“the characterization that a glitch occurred is not accurate.”

• ”There was no glitch or software error,” said Shoemaker, whose firm also handles a wide array of federal contracts, including TSA Pre-Check at airports and “biometric and secure identity solutions” at the Pentagon.

• […] IDEMIA, which says it produces the majority of drivers’ licenses in the United States, has contracts with motor vehicle departments in 36 states.

• Shoemaker told USA TODAY the firm followed the written specifications issued by New Jersey in 2023, when it won a contract to collect self-attested responses, including a box to check about interest in registering to vote for people applying for or renewing a driver’s license or state-issued identification card.

• Those written specifications, Shoemaker said, included the order of the questions. First, would you like to register to vote? Second, are you a U.S. citizen? And third −and only for those who answered yes to citizenship − select a party affiliation.

• The state tested the software itself and approved it for deployment in 2023, Shoemaker told USA TODAY. (read more).

Suspicious Cat remains, well, increasingly suspicious.

Senator Eric Schmitt Releases Damning Memo Exposing Joe Biden’s Devious Last-Minute Scheme to Leave Trump With an Even More Massive Immigration Crisis

by Cullen Linebarger Jul. 25, 2026

We all know Joe Biden and his regime created theworst immigration crisis in American history in an effort to remake the population. But now, newly released information hasrevealed that they planned to go much furtherin his final days before being stopped.

As Fox News reported, Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) obtained a bombshell memo on Thursday from the Archivist of the United States as part of a special access request he made as Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Constitution.

The memo, issued inJanuary 2025, according to Schmitt, reveals that the Biden regime planned to expand Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to more than 3 million aliens. It specifically noted that about 1.5 million Guatemalans, 600,000 Ecuadorians, 464,000 Nicaraguans, and 455,000 Venezuelanswere all still eligible for TPS.

The memo also includedpopulations from Ukraine, Sudan, and Afghanistan who could receive amnesty.

More alarmingly, the memo points out that previous court challenges had blocked many of President Trump’s attempts to terminate the protections andfocuses on granting TPS relief for a particular country: Haiti.

We all know the damage many Haitians have wreaked in certain American communities, including Springfield, Ohio.

From Fox News:

Thememo argued that “granting TPS will potentially protect many vulnerable people from President-elect Trump’s planned mass deportations… They argue that these protections are likely to hold in court, and they are prepared to litigate efforts to terminate or slow down the implementation of TPS for specified nations by the Trump Administration.”

“[P]rior federal litigation brought by advocates during the first Trump administration was successful in halting [its] efforts to terminate TPS, though that was due in large part to [its] failure to produce a factual record in support of termination, which is something that could be rectified,” the memo went on.

“The previous Administration unsuccessfully attempted to terminate TPS designations for Sudan, Nicaragua, Haiti, El Salvador, Nepal, and Honduras. Courts issued preliminary injunctions blocking the Trump Administration’s actions,” it read. “Your administration took actions to resolve this litigation by either redesignating Haiti or rescinding the terminations.”

The memo also reminded Biden’s “senior team” of demands on TPS from the following Democratic Senators. Michael Bennet of Colorado, Catherine Cortez-Masto of Nevada, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Dick Durbin of Illinois, Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, Ben Ray Lujan of New Mexico, Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, and Alex Padilla of California.

“In addition, some stakeholders are requesting that your Administration designate nationals from new countries, most notably Ecuador and Guatemala, for TPS,” the memo states.

Schmitt spoke out about the memo he uncovered during an interview with Fox News on Friday:

“My investigation uncovered that the Lame Duck Biden White House tried to keep millions of illegal aliens in our country by abusing the ‘Temporary’ Protected Status program, “Schmitt explained

“After the American people voted for President Trump’s promise to end the TPS scam, the Biden administration tried to subvert the will of the American people. This was mass amnesty-by-decree. America is for Americans, and it is our home—it is not a permanent refugee camp,” he added.

Ukraine attacks Iranian ship, kills sailor – Tehran

Earlier in the day, Kiev claimed to have struck “military cargo shipments involving Iran” in the Caspian Sea

Published 25 Jul, 2026 19:48

At least one sailor was killed and another injured in a Ukrainian strike on a cargo vessel in the Caspian Sea,the Iranian Foreign Ministry has said, denouncing the attack as an act of aggression and warning of potential retaliation.

The drone attack was publicized on Saturday byUkrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, who bragged on X about achieving “very strong results with long‑range strikes in the Caspian Sea.”The strikes affected “vessels used in military cargo shipments involving Iran, as well as a warship,” Zelensky claimed on X.

Tehran responded to the incident later in the day, confirming its commercial vessel came under the “Ukrainian regime’s attack” in the landlocked waterway. The strike killed one sailor aboard the vessel and wounded another one, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement without providing any details on the extent of the damage sustained by the ship.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to protect its national interests and security. It is clear that the responsibility for the consequences of the Ukrainian regime leader’s adventurism will lie entirely with that regime, as well as its backers and instigators,” the ministry warned.

The ministry reiterated that “Iran has never intervened in the Russia-Ukraine conflict,” while arguing that Kiev’s actions show it has been “dangerously seeking to spread war and instability.” Ukraine has repeatedly accused Tehran of supporting Moscow in the hostilities, namely by supplying it with assorted drones and missiles.

While Moscow and Tehran have never attempted to hide their close cooperation, which is governed by bilateral agreements, both have dismissed the Ukrainian claims regarding large-scale arms shipments. While the Russian Geran-2 and the Iranian Shahed-136 UAVs do bear distinctive similarities, both, as well as analogous drones fielded by multiple countries, including the US in recent years, are inspired by the Dornier DAR drone developed in West Germany in the mid-1980s.

Kiev has actively tried to become involved in the Middle East conflict triggered by the US-Israeli attack on Iran earlier this year. The Ukrainian leadership has claimed to have secured deals with Gulf states to provide them with specialists and technology to counter Iranian drones and is hoping to secure additional anti-aircraft systems and munitions in exchange.

More than 200 Ukrainian military experts have been deployed to the Middle East under the deals, according to Zelensky. Ultimately, the group reportedly sustained personnel casualties and equipment damage in an Iranian strike on a depot in Dubai during the first wave of active hostilities in the region.Kiev has denied the incident took place.

The ministry condemned the attack as an act of aggression that “risks further fueling and expanding the flames of war.”It urged other nations to take a “responsible stance toward this reckless action by the Ukrainian regime” and hold its leadership accountable.

(Zelensky is hideously stupid and arrogant!)

Musk should stop providing Starlink services to Ukrainian military if he wants to save lives – Russia

Ukrainian forces have been using long-range drone strikes to target civilians

Published 24 Jul, 2026 22:45 | Updated

Elon Musk should stop providing Starlink satellite internet services to Ukrainian troops if he cares about the loss of life in the conflict, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said.

Her remarks came after Musk criticized what he described as detached diplomacy over the conflict during a podcast released this week.

“I’m really annoyed by these fancy diplomats eating seven-course dinners in fancy places while people are dying on the front lines, and pontificating that Russia should withdraw its troops,” Musk said in an interview with The Economist published on Wednesday.

Zakharova responded on Telegram on Friday, saying: “I would like to take that idea a step further and suggest removing Starlink from Ukraine so people would stop dying.”

Musk’s satellite communications network has helped Ukraine expand its long-range strikes on Russian territory, targeting energy and port infrastructure, while also regularly hitting apartment blocks and civilian vehicles. According to the Kyiv Post, drones can be equipped with Starlink terminals to maintain stable internet connection during ‘free hunting’ missions.

Musk began providing Starlink services to Ukrainian forces free of charge during the early weeks of the conflict. More than 70,000 active terminals were in use in Ukraine in 2025, according to estimates.

Ukrainian drones recently struck warehouses belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer, killing seven night-shift workers in one attack. The company and the Kremlin dismissed claims that the marketplace is being used to supply the military.

Last month, a drone hit a bus in Donetsk Region, Russia, killing eight passengers. On May 22, UAVs struck a college dormitory in Starobelsk, killing 21 students, most of them young women.
