I thought the Commercial Crew program was supposed to eliminate the need to buy seats on Russian spacecraft to and from the ISS.
Obviously, Putin doesn't have the money to keep the space station staffed without NASA footing part of the bill. So indirectly we are allowing Putin to spend more money on his misadventures into Ukraine.
Someone in Congress needs to bring this up in a NASA appropriations authorization meeting.
There are several plans out there for Vance or Rubio to run for President, with Trump in the VP slot, then soon after, have the new President resign and Trump take back over.
I don't think this will work because:
It limits Vance or Rubio to one more elected term - and no career politician wants to give up even one of those.
There will be such blow back on the obvious ploy, that Republicans will tank the midterms and perhaps even the next Presidential election as voters not appreciating the use of the loophole reject anyone associated with Trump.
I think Trump's future role should be as honorary chair of the GOP (soon to be renamed "MAGA"), he should use his elder statesman status to be kingmaker and head fundraiser for all conservative causes and conservative media.
Trump may just want to play more golf and hope the crazies stop trying to shoot him!!!

The Dumocrats willingly accepted Socialist/Communist money in order to pay the bills and accepted they had to move much further to the loon-left as the price of continued funding. Now the Socialist/Communist wing wants to come out of hiding and are taking their money with them. Moderate and what used to be conservative Dumocrats either went independent or stopped funding the madness of the loon-left - this leaves what remains of the Dumocrat party unable to pay their bills - especially after the KaMOOla debacle.
Q knew: the end of the D party. The idiots doubled down on stupid, let the loons take over in exchange for short term funding and now have damaged their brand beyond salvaging. Now we just need the local/state Dumocrat organizations to collapse without help from big donors.
