if the democrats want to do something positive they could

1. declare bankruptcy so that the DSA has NO funding.

2. Dissolve and reform without DSA people as part of it.

and that would terminate the takeover of their party.

let the DSA form their own party that no one but them joins and bring all the unions and long term democrats into some other party.

and then maybe history won't trash them as bad as it might.
