There are many other signs that America’s slow decline is about to turn into a sudden one
As of July 17, the US oil reserve had 311 million barrels, and it is being depleted at a speed of about 9 million barrels per week. Theoretically, this means that the U.S. can last 8 months until the reserve is empty, but in practice, when the level reaches 250 million barrels, it will be almost impossible to use reserves. This would mean a full-scale crisis in early September.
