Fauci has become somewhat of a household name as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and, in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, a near-constant feature on television sets as a member of the White House task force assembled to advise on the crisis.

In the interview, Fauci explained he’s been dealing with a lot of pressure during the pandemic. He said exercise is a big part of his routine. The 79-year-old power walks 3 ½ miles each day.

“I used to say ‘run,’ but I don’t run very much anymore because at the end of the run, various parts of my body hurt so much,” he said. “Power walking is very enjoyable and relaxing, and we look forward to it.”

He added one of his three adult daughters came to stay with them for a few months and brought her dog.

“That was fantastic. Not only to see her but to have the dog,” he laughed. “That gave us a lot of mental health.”

Of course, Fauci has become somewhat of a politicized figure amid the pandemic and is often at odds with the Trump administration. In recent days, the White House has seemingly tried to distance and even discredit Fauci.

Over the weekend, an official in the administration gave news outlets a list of nearly a dozen past comments by Fauci that the official said had ultimately proven erroneous, adding "several White House officials are concerned about the number of times Dr. Fauci has been wrong on things."

President Donald Trump has also regularly insisted the country is “doing great” while Fauci has disagreed and faulted the decision in some states to reopen too quickly — sidestepping the task force's suggested criteria for when it's safe to do so.

In the interview for InStyle, Fauci explained his relationship with Trump is “complicated.”

“Because in some respects I have a very good relationship with him,” he said. “During the times that I was seeing him a fair amount, it was quite a collegial relationship. And in many respects, it probably still is, but I don’t see him very much anymore.”

“Sometimes you say things that are not widely accepted in the White House, and that’s just a fact of life.”

He also added he is hopeful about a vaccine for the coronavirus that could be deemed safe and effective by the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021, “if all goes well.”

“The companies … promise that as we get into 2021, there’ll be an ample supply because they’re going to start making the doses imminently,” he said. “By the beginning of the year, we should have the first tens millions and then hundreds of millions of doses. That being the case, I would think we could vaccinate a substantial portion of the population as we get into 2021 — if the vaccine is safe and effective.”

Why Are Flock Employees Watching Our Children?

Flock sales employees are logging onto Dunwoody's Flock Network to spy on us and our children in childrens gymnastics centers, fitness studios, libraries, playgrounds, schools, and private pools.

Executive Summary:

Flock Safety’s system of public and private cameras, microphones, and drones is being used by Flock sales employees to spy on us and our children in children’s gymnastics centers, fitness studios, libraries, schools, playgrounds, and private pools.

These cameras record people and children in real time 24/7, and a private vendor stores the data. This vendor has unfettered access to that data, and Flock employees are removing multifactor authentication requirements and audit trails. The system is not being misused - it is being used exactly as intended.

Overview

This is a small analysis of the Flock event log ‘event-logs_010125_031926’ provided through Open Records Request D048397-031926 in Dunwoody Georgia. It combines this info with information received through other Open Records Requests.

This write-up will focus on public data being shared, private data being shared, and unfettered access and searching of this data by Flock employees. Like the ‘security assessment’ completed by the City, these logs leave more questions than answers.

Dunwoody residents and this private business’s members/guests deserve to know how this happened, and what measures will be taken to keep the public safe. Flock Safety continues to lie to the public and the council. It is my opinion that the risks of this tool: lack of accountability, auditability, oversight, guardrails, and security far outweigh the benefits.

The city should immediately cancel the contract and conduct a thorough independent audit to assess the damage.

I initially brought these concerns to the city council on 1/12/26 because of the possibility of harm to the citizens of Dunwoody. Based on my findings below I believe I was too late.

Only performative action has been taken by the city staff, and the City refuses to answer any questions in writing about how the system is used, what contracts authorize its AI capabilities, and how our data is being used by a private company.

I will not be releasing the logs cited here publicly, since the city did not redact quite a bit of personally identifiable information. The information here has been sent to Dunwoody City Council on 4/7/25.

These logs represent the changes that have allegedly been made to the Dunwoody Flock network since the start of 2025. Although, as you will read later, I am skeptical that their logs capture all network activities.

I have modified the logs to EST for viewing/sorting, but everything here can and should be independently verified. The analysis, interpretations, and conclusions contained in this document represent the personal opinions of the author based on publicly available information and records obtained through Open Records Requests. Flocks ‘audits’ only show when a person initiated a liveview camera. They do not show the duration of the liveview, or when it ended. This is a fundamental issue with the auditing of the system, and thus we do not know when someone stops looking at a camera. All of the claims below come with that caveat.

Although there are many trends of Dunwoody PD officers and staff monitoring the live view cameras on the business’s fitness studios, gyms, and pools, this section will focus on the Flock employees accessing the system with unfettered access.

Flock employees, mostly members of their sales team, are regularly looking at both live and recorded footage of us.

Flock employee search breakdown and employment based on publicly available information

This includes the city council chambers, our playground and libraries, as well as private networks, such as the fitness studios, a pool, and gymnastics areas at the private business.

One Flock employee, Randy Gluck, who lives in Raleigh and is a business development manager for their 911 products, was granted live-view access to our cameras. He looked at 54 cameras, with very strange patterns such as clicking through 5 traffic cameras on July 21st last year before settling on the Dunwoody Library camera. The Flock data does not tell us when he stopped watching that footage, but he didn’t look at anything else for two hours.

Two days later, Randy clicked through 3 private cameras at the private business before he settled on camera ‘Main Pool Right’. It was over 3 hours later before his next view on traffic cameras. Randy is still an active user in our system. I think this deserves an explanation.

This brings me to Bob Carter - Vice President of Strategic Relations and Business Development for Flock. Bob spends a lot of time looking through both our live footage and recorded footage. Just since the beginning of last year, he has done this 185 times.

Bob also has some interesting searches. On September 30th, 2025 - Bob looked at just one camera. This camera is in the gymnastics room of the business. I personally am curious about why a sales employee from Flock would be viewing the gymnastics room. I think this also deserves an explanation.
