A congressional hearing is conducted by the legislative branch and is not the same as a trial in a court of law (judicial branch).
Congressional hearings are KABUKI THEATRE made for public consumption.
Politicians use them for sound-bites for campaign purposes.
The msm use them to push an agenda.
GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES being tried in a court of law for actions conducted in their OFFICIAL CAPACITY (as opposed to an INDIVIDUAL), HAVE NO SUCH FIFTH AMENDMENT RIGHTT and can be COMPELLED to testify.
CON-Inc. wants to cry about Fauci invoking his fifth amendment right 111 times.
Real conservatives should be defending this mans, and EVERY AMERICANS, rights.
Invoking one's rights does not prevent conviction if allegations are supported by evidence.
IT WOULD SERVE YOU ALL WELL TO KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND TO EXERCISE THEM ACCORDINGLY.
