Adapted from the federal employee retreat Hi-Catoctin, President Franklin Roosevelt established the residence as USS Shangri La, modeling the new main lodge after the Roosevelt winter vacation home in Warm Springs, Georgia. President Eisenhower subsequently renamed the institution in honor of his grandson David.

eisenhower also held the lance of power for a short time unless he didnt really give it back to vienna where hitler stole it from โ€ฆ

pattons ghost army were the ones that secured it in berlin and hitler "killed himself" hours later after finding out it was lost to the allies

Patton even wrote a poem about what it wouldve of felt to press the spear of destiny into Jesus' side

Longinus, the Roman soldier who did so instantly had his blindness from cataracts healed and could see the future and that Jesus was the True Messiah >>24891835

the vienna spear that was returned to the hapsburg musta been a replica as had no traces of blood on it all, so the whole mytholgy about the spear was destroyed by science

but what if Patton kept the spear knowling full well that it could not be in the hands of the enemy of Christendom, โ€ฆ and whom did Patton entrust to keep the spear safe and wield such power without abusing it? such as the ring of power

The spear was treated as a symbol of sacred imperial authority, not just a relic.

Holy Roman emperors used it as part of coronation and regalia traditions.

Since the Habsburgs were the ruling dynasty of the Austrian/Holy Roman imperial lands, the relic stayed with their treasury in Vienna.

Swan Lake and the deaths of political leaders

The years 1982, 1984 and 1985 all saw the deaths of Soviet leaders โ€“ Leonid Brezhnev, Yuri Andropov and Konstantin Chernenko, respectively.

In the period of potential political disturbance after each death, Russian TV began to play Swan Lake on a loop. While the goal was perhaps to distract and calm viewers, the ballet actually became associated with the deaths of leaders and with political instability.

In August 1991, Swan Lake again returned to Russian TV. But this time, it wasnโ€™t signalling that someone had died.

On 19th August, the Vice President of the Soviet Union, Gennady Yanayev, and seven other political leaders imprisoned Gorbachev in his country home in Crimea and attempted to institute a coup. This group, later known as the โ€˜Gang of Eightโ€™, called themselves the โ€˜State Committee on the State of Emergencyโ€™. Their goal was to halt and reverse Gorbachevโ€™s policies.

That morning, Swan Lake played again on Soviet state television. Russians instantly understood that it was not a good sign.

However, this time the ballet did not play alongside the death of a leader. Gorbachev survived his detainment in his house, and the coup attempt failed after only three days. Boris Yeltsinโ€™s role proved pivotal. He famously stood on a tank outside the parliament building in Moscow and gave a speech that dissuaded soldiers from entering the building to support the coup.
