22 EU Leaders Demand "Immediate Action" To Spanish Enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla Invasion

European leaders criticized Madrid's socialist government as its open-border policies unraveled for the world to see.

The invasion of the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla by 50,000 military-aged men from Morocco exposed the dire consequences of nation-killing mass-migration policies promoted by socialist regimes, which have long eroded national sovereignty across the entire continent.

For Europe, the latest border breach represents one of the clearest warnings yet that uncontrolled mass migration has evolved from a political dispute into a full-blown national security crisis.

Hours after the invasion, Italy's Interior Ministry suspended Schengen free-movement rules with Spain and ordered the closure of air and maritime borders between the two countries, citing national security concerns.

The list of European leaders criticizing Spanish Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is growing on Saturday, as 22 EU leaders have now signed on to a demand for an "immediate and coordinated European response" to the invasion into Ceuta and Melilla.

Xi Tells PLA TO Build 'Intelligent Military System' As Beijing Leans Into Drones And AI

China's Xi Jinping told the People's Liberation Army this week to intensify the military application of artificial intelligence and unmanned systems, telling a Politburo study session that the force should build toward what the official readout called an "intelligent military system." The directive landed days before the PLA's ninety-ninth anniversary and squarely on the modernization targets Beijing has set for its centenary in 2027.

According to the state news agency Xinhua, as noted by Bloomberg, Xi told the session that the PLA should strengthen the military application of unmanned intelligent technologies, deepen the development of networked information systems, and gradually build an intelligent military. The report singles out autonomous and AI-enabled capability as the direction of travel and ties it to the "intelligentization" doctrine that has guided PLA planning for years. Xi paired the technology push with a renewed anti-corruption drive inside the military and the familiar insistence that the armed forces answer, always, to the Party.

The Race With Washington

Obviously this is about geopolitical dominance. Beijing's public posture increasingly treats AI and unmanned platforms as the technologies that will reshape modern warfare, and Xi's remarks land while the United States pours its own money into military AI and autonomous systems. Analysts who track the PLA describe intelligentization as a whole-of-nation effort, mobilizing not just the armed forces but the country's scientific and industrial base, with the most ambitious version of the goal being to match or exceed US military capabilities by mid-century.

Meanwhile, reviews of Chinese research surfaced PLA-linked work using Western AI models, obtained through distillation, to train domestic defense tools, a reminder that the "intelligent military" Xi is describing is being assembled in part from the same frontier-model capabilities the West is trying to fence off through export controls.

It's no secret that unmanned and AI-enabled systems are a key priority for Chinese military modernization, and it it comes as Washington's own hawks are warning that permitting delays and data-center backlash could hand Beijing the edge in exactly this contest…

Twin Car Bombs Rock Colombian City Days Before Trump-Backed "El Tigre" Takes Power

Details remain limited, but initial reports and footage on X suggest that one or more vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs), commonly known as car or truck bombs, detonated near a police station in Cúcuta, Colombia, close to the Venezuelan border.

The apparent VBIED attack occurred just six days before President-elect Abelardo de la Espriella's inauguration, which will transfer power from Gustavo Petro's socialist regime to a right-wing administration expected to align closely with the Trump administration.

Pirro said the damage to the Lincoln Reflecting Pool was the result of “flawed installation by the contractor.”

“It was not until after the return of the indictment [of Hearn], that the [Department of Interior] provided additional documents to the [US Attorney’s Office in DC] indicating that damage to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in June 2026 was the result of flawed installation by the contractor, Atlantic Industrial Coatings, and the rush to complete the project prior to events associated with the America 250 celebration in the weeks surrounding Independence Day 2026,” Pirro’s office wrote.

On Saturday, Trump said he disagreed with Pirro.

Full statement from President Trump:

I disagree 100% with Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, on the Reflecting Pool.

I don’t know what she was thinking? To me, it was a pure case of VANDALISM, that included the grass, which had a big 86 47 emblazoned in giant letters on it, and other elements of the surrounding area.

OpenAI uncovers more AI breakout incidents – Reuters

The company launched an investigation after its advanced models escaped a test environment and hacked another company’s systems without human instruction

OpenAI has uncovered additional cases in which its autonomous AI models breached containment and acted without human instruction, Reuters has reported, citing sources.

The findings come as the company expands its investigation into a hacking incident last month in which an AI bot went rogue while attempting to cheat in an internal cybersecurity test.

During tests of GPT-5.6 Sol and another unreleased model, both stripped of their safety guardrails, the systems were assigned ExploitGym – a benchmark designed to measure AI models’ ability to identify and exploit known software vulnerabilities. Instead of completing the tasks, one model escaped its supposedly isolated testing environment, gained internet access and hacked into Hugging Face – an online repository for AI models and datasets – in search of ready-made answers.

OpenAI initially said the intrusion was limited to Hugging Face. However, in a statement on Wednesday, it acknowledged the hacking spree had also compromised four accounts across four separate services.

On Friday, Reuters reported that additional containment breaches had since been uncovered, although it remains unclear how many incidents occurred, when they happened or what systems they targeted. One source told the news agency the breaches were limited in scope and that none of the AI bots are believed to have left OpenAI’s internal network. Reuters said OpenAI and outside experts are also reviewing logs from earlier this year to determine whether other similar incidents had gone unnoticed.

OpenAI defends its models

OpenAI blamed the initial breach on a flaw in third-party software used in its testing environment, saying its AI models exploited it to break out and gain internet access. The company said it is tightening containment, monitoring and access controls while investigating the breach and patching the flaw.

CEO Sam Altman also acknowledged that “we may have to pace the rate of AI development,” but stopped short of committing to slow the company’s research.

Asked about the Reuters report, OpenAI declined to comment, referring to an earlier statement saying it was aware of speculation and planned to publish “a technical report of our learnings in the coming weeks.”

Anthropic finds similar breaches

Rival AI developer Anthropic said on Thursday it had also uncovered containment breaches involving its Claude models during internal security testing.

New abuse probe raises Epstein behavior at elite US arts school

The investigation into a Michigan institution found 70 accounts of abuse spanning decades, including allegations involving the late financier

An investigation into a prestigious arts school in the US state of Michigan has uncovered decades of alleged sexual misconduct by dozens of faculty and staff members, while also revealing new allegations involving the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The 97-page report, released by Sanghavi Law Office earlier this week, was commissioned by the Interlochen Center for the Arts in 2024, to investigate allegations of abuse against several faculty members. The inquiry was later broadened and ultimately included allegations involving Epstein, a donor to the school.

Investigators collected 70 accounts from former students alleging physical conduct of a sexual nature involving 47 faculty and staff members between the 1950s and the 2010s, with most of the reported incidents occurring before 2000. The report describes a pattern of misconduct ranging from grooming, flirting, and inappropriate touching to sexual contact.

Epstein, who attended Interlochen’s summer camp in 1967 and donated more than $400,000 to the institution between 1990 and 2003, according to media reports, is also the subject of allegations in the report.

Two former students accused the disgraced financier of sexual misconduct. One woman told investigators Epstein repeatedly touched her inappropriately under the guise of accidental contact while she was staying in a camp building that then bore his name. She said he later paid for trips to New York, where the unwanted touching continued.

Another former student alleged Epstein asked her to expose her breasts while she was giving him a massage at his private residence. She said she cut off all contact with Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, after the incident.

The building named after Epstein was stripped of his name in 2009 after the school learned of his 2008 conviction on sex crime charges in Florida. It was later renamed Green Lake Lodge and has since been demolished.

Germany has reached a new low in election rigging

Local officials in Lower Saxony are blocking AfD candidates from running, using intelligence reports instead of courts or due process.

Today’s Germany is a grim, unhappy place. Thirty-six years after West Germany’s take-over of the former East Germany (polite term: re-unification), which was supposed to herald a golden age of national fulfilment, citizens are in a very foul mood.

According to Ipsos, one of Germany’s go-to pollsters, their morale is at a “historic nadir,” and they are “losing confidence about the country’s future.” As of last month, fear of poverty and inequality was “clearly increasing,” with 37 percent of all respondents picking it as their number-one angst, followed by “migration” (31 percent), “inflation” (30 percent), worries over the healthcare system (26 percent) and “criminality and violence” (25 percent).

Note that all top five anxieties focus on what is going wrong at home. That doesn’t mean, though, that Germans are optimistic about the world or Germany’s place in it: 24 percent of the Ipsos poll respondents fear “military conflicts between states.”

If the mood is sour, it’s very good reasons: Germany’s abysmally, unprecedentedly unpopular and embattled chancellor, Friedrich Merz, is desperately trying to sell an absurd feel-good story about the German economy as an “anchor of stability.” But that only demonstrates how divorced from reality Germany’s rulers are: In the real Germany that their subjects must inhabit, industrial output is 17 percent below 2017. After the recent roll-out of a perfectly underwhelming “reform package,” business leaders have warned that much more is needed to prevent a “lost decade.” That would be, in effect, the second one in a row.

Meanwhile, Berlin is busy doing two things: cut down public spending on absolutely vital things such as education (next to inexpensive energy, the decisive resource for Germany’s prosperity already sacrificed to the proxy war against Russia) and raze the sorry remnants of social safety nets that have long been in tatters already.

Google just handed every troll a button to fake satellite photos on its own trusted maps

The company that spent decades becoming the world’s default map just stuck an “add fake nuclear plant” button on it.

Google rolled out Nano Banana 2 AI image tool in Google Earth web on July 30 2026.

Users type a prompt over any real location and it generates a new image glued to actual satellite aerial and 3D data.

Examples researchers made in hours: nuclear plant in Iran, refugees at Mexican border, fatal crash in Amsterdam, bomb crater next to hospital in Gaza, homeless camp in LA, skyscrapers in rural areas.

OSINT expert Hank Van Ess wrote: “Tonight I typed just one sentence into Google Earth and put refugees near the Mexican border. Then I planted a nuclear plant in Iran.”

Another: type your workplace address and “make it look like a drone attack” and it looks like real conflict zone photos.

Google says every generated image has invisible SynthID watermark. Check with Gemini or Lens. They block some harmful topics.

Critics say most people never check watermarks. Screenshots spread fast before anyone verifies. Detection can be bypassed.

Feature was marketed for history visuals and real estate plans. It inherits the credibility of real Google Earth maps.

By July 31 Google announced it was rolling the feature back while adding stronger guardrails after people shared policy-violating screenshots.

Judicial Watch Caught the FBI Hiding 2 Million Comey-Era Records and the Bureau Just Admitted Something Stunning

The Deep State had one plan for the records that could expose everything it did to Donald Trump.

Now Judicial Watch is in federal court trying to pry those records loose, and the FBI just filed its answer.

What the bureau told Judge Dabney Friedrich – and the math behind it – reveals exactly what the Deep State thinks Americans deserve to know.

FBI Burn Bags and the Crossfire Hurricane Records Kash Patel Was Never Supposed to Find

In May 2025, then-FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino went on Fox News and dropped a story the mainstream media buried.

Bongino told viewers that Kash Patel's team had discovered a hidden room inside FBI headquarters – a secret SCIF that did not appear on any building blueprint.

Inside: burn bags stuffed with classified records from the Comey era, pulled from standard FBI records management and stashed where no one was supposed to look.

Bongino said the records were connected to Crossfire Hurricane – the FBI's Trump-Russia probe – and that whoever stashed them there did not want them found.

"We found it in bags, hiding under Jim Comey's FBI," Bongino said. "You're going to be stunned."

The FBI told U.S. District Court it processes records from that room – now called the "burn bag room" – at a rate of 500 pages a month.

There are more than 2 million pages in that room.

At that pace, full disclosure arrives in the year 2184.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton did not take it lying down.

"American citizens should be outraged the FBI just told a federal court judge that its stonewalling means it will take 158 years to release the 2 million weaponization and lawfare records in its secret 'burn bag' room," Fitton said.

"The American people need to know today how the FBI was used as a political weapon against Donald Trump and other innocents."

Judicial Watch is asking Judge Friedrich to allow a limited deposition of FBI officials – pressing the bureau on who discovered the room, who had access, and how two million pages of classified records ended up in burn bags instead of standard records management.

The FBI is opposing that request too.

Iran FM Accuses Israel Of False Flag After Mystery Drone Strike On Egyptian Port

Iran is suggesting that Wednesday's unprecedented drone attack on a US-owned gas-processing vessel moored at Egypt's Mediterranean port of Damietta was a false flag.

Even within hours of the incident first being reported by Egyptian authorities, which merely described an industrial fire of unknown cause, the incident was shrouded in mystery and contradictory reports. Some reports pointed to the Iranians, while others alleged the Houthis may have attacked the Mediterranean port.

Reuters had described, "The drone hit floating storage tanker Energos Winter, causing a fire that then spread to another vessel, Gaslog ‌Salem, three trading sources familiar with the incident said. Two separate security sources said the cause of the blast was a drone strike."

It detailed: "The crew was evacuated, and the fire had been brought under control, Ambrey said, adding that no party had claimed responsibility."

There was widespread speculation that this was the Iranians seeking to demonstrate to the Americans that it can disrupt energy flows across the whole broader region, even into the Mediterranean Sea.

But Tehran has since vehemently denied it was behind the alleged drone strike, with on Thursday its Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issuing a statement raising the prospect of an Israeli false flag.

"Egypt is an important friend and partner in the region, and its security is of utmost importance to us," Araghchi wrote on X. "We must all be vigilant against Israeli plots and false-flag operations designed to undermine regional peace."

The suggestion from Tehran is that Israel wanted to ensure that all Arab and Muslim-majority states turn strongly against Tehran, and so put a greater target on the Islamic Republic.

Extremist content creators spread conspiracy theories blaming Israel for Spain's migration crisis

The theories were sparked by scrutiny of a social media post made by Yair Netanyahu in 2019 and gained traction even after Spanish authorities ruled out any Moroccan interference.

Several anti-Israel accounts posted conspiracy theories during the weekend, blaming Israel for the border disruptions reported in the Spanish cities of Ceuta and Melilla on Thursday, with many citing years-old posts from Yair Netanyahu as "proof" of Israel's involvement.

Far-right American commentator Candace Owens shared a post made more than seven years ago by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son Yair Netanyahu, where he argued that Israel would not fund "NGOs in [Spain] calling you to give away Ceuta and Melilla, and [Spain] will stop funding NGOs in our country that call us to give away Judea and Samaria."

In Spain, far-left content creator Ana Alcalde -also known as "Gaza Barbie" for her participation in one of the Global Sumud Flotilla activist missions- also began posting content blaming Israel for the current migration crisis in the Spanish cities in Africa while claiming that it was "a plan to take down a progressive government like the one of [Spanish Prime Minister] Pedro Sanchez."

Her first posts were made hours after the first migrants started to cross the border to Ceuta, and she has continued sharing conspiracy theories that link Netanyahu, Israel, and US President Donald Trump to the crisis.

On the other side of the political spectrum, far-right influencer Alex Jones shared a conspiracy theory saying that "Israel launched an Islamic invasion of Spain," while he also claimed that the US was "backing Netanyahu's plan to launch an Islamic invasion of Spain from Morocco."

Moroccan police pushed migrants into crossing the border, The New York Times reports

Conspiracy theorists were not the only ones hinting at the possibility that the situations in Ceuta and Melilla were encouraged or organized by foreign actors, with The New York Times reporting that several migrants were influenced by the Moroccan police to cross the border.

According to the report, Moroccan migrants present at the scene flocked to the border after seeing social media posts calling for people to gather there.

They were also reportedly urged by the police to cross the border, with one of the migrants interviewed recalling that officers told him, "Come to Spain."

The interviewed migrant, called Mohammed Ahmidho, also said that the people from Morocco were not welcomed in Spain, even though many went there looking to work. “They had nothing for us,” he said. “They were screaming, ‘Get out of Spain.’”

Pedro Sanchez calls Ceuta situation an 'attack on Spain’s territorial integrity'

Prime Minister Sanchez said on Friday while he was visiting Ceuta that the situation in Spain's African cities was an "attack on Spain’s territorial integrity."

Later, Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska blamed people-smuggling networks for exploiting vulnerable migrants and spreading misleading interpretations of a recent Spanish Supreme Court ruling that migrants intercepted at sea cannot be summarily returned in the absense of a physical barrier.

"Morocco isn't any threat to Ceuta or the rest of Spain - it's a fully reliable partner," he said, adding there had been no intelligence indicating a mass entry was imminent.

By Saturday, Spanish authorities said that most migrants had turned back to Morocco, while crossings into its North African enclave of Ceuta had stopped overnight.

Spanish police also began installing a 500-meter floating barrier on Saturday off its border with Morocco following the mass rush that killed at least 67 people.

Israeli troops stage mass walkout from Sde Teiman torture center

Elite soldiers from the Givati Brigade staged a 'mutiny' after a crackdown on hazing in the unit following their return from combat in Lebanon

Dozens of Israeli soldiers from the Givati Brigade's Tzabar Battalion left the Sde Teiman torture center without authorization, Israeli media reported on 30 July, in a move described as a “mutiny.”

The soldiers left the base in protest on Thursday afternoon after their commanders removed signs and symbols tied to a longstanding battalion tradition of hazing its younger soldiers.

“A short time ago, soldiers from a combat battalion began leaving their base without their commanders' authorization,” the military spokesperson said.

“The incident is being investigated and addressed by commanders. This conduct is inconsistent with IDF values and with what is expected of its soldiers.”

The soldiers were filmed chanting the obscene slogan, “They can suck it,” in reference to their commanding officers.

In one video, one of the soldiers tells his comrades that if its officers interfere in the traditions of the battalion and “spit in our faces, then we are not interested in anything. I don't think you can be a fighter like that. Do you think you can be a fighter like that?”

According to soldiers in the battalion, the symbols were passed down from one recruitment class to the next. They viewed the symbols as representing their connection to the battalion.

Military sources speaking with Maariv said that the fighters left their weapons as they left the base to return home. “As of now, this is the largest military mutiny in the history of [the Israeli army].”

The Israeli military spokesperson said the walkout followed the commander's decision to remove signs connected to “irregular incidents” involving the battalion's “veteran-junior” tradition, a reference to the hazing of new soldiers by the battalion's veterans.

The battalion commander told parents that “many soldiers are affected by this through violence and humiliation. Therefore, I decided to break wooden signs of Satan, the Angel of Death, and more, signs that represent exactly these things.”

The soldiers claimed that “when you break these symbols, you're not just breaking a piece of wood or a sign – you're breaking something from the spirit of the fighters. After everything we've been through, the little thing that gives us strength, pride and a smile has been destroyed.”

"He has brought this upon his own country!"

Ben Shapiro responds to Ceuta being flooded with migrants by railing against Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez for opposing Israel.

"I think he needs to recognize Catalonia as its own state!" he quips, drawing parallels to Spain's recognition of Palestine.

"In order to repatriate all of the descendants of the Muslims who were expelled back in 1492, the Spanish government really ought to do the right thing and welcome in all the descendants of all the Muslims who were expelled in 1492—a 'right of return,' you might call it."

"And they should be given Spanish territory and Spanish homes. Otherwise, I think what you have here is just a form of apartheid. I mean, that border fence looks to me like an apartheid fence!"

🚨MAXINE WATERS HAS BEEN A PATIENT AT A LONG-TERM ALZHEIMER’S FACILITY FOR NEARLY FOUR MONTHS — “SHE DOESN’T REMEMBER HER OWN NAME MOST DAYS!”

They’re hiding her in plain sight.

Sources at a Los Angeles long-term Alzheimer’s facility in San Recto confirm that U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters has been a patient there for nearly four months. According to staff, “She doesn’t remember her own name most days.”Even more damning: she’s being listed under the false name “Alexandra Josephine Barron” to keep the truth quiet.

There is no way a member of Congress who can no longer recognize her own name should still be casting votes or listed as an active representative. The Democrat leadership has been covering this up while continuing to use her seat.

This is the real state of the party that claims to care about “democracy.”

Iran suspected in cyberattack on US water systems across at least seven states

The FBI and environmental regulators are investigating incidents affecting facilities of different sizes, while officials say water supplies remain safe and caution that no definitive attribution has been made

U.S. authorities have not concluded that the latest attack was directed by Iran. Officials emphasized that the investigation remains in its early stages and that cyber investigations can take months before firm conclusions are reached.

The New York Times reported that Iran has intensified cyber activity against American targets since the war involving Israel and the United States began. Iranian hackers have also previously attempted to target similar water facilities in the U.S.

The newspaper said the incidents did not appear to be financially motivated, reducing the likelihood that ordinary cybercriminals were responsible.

President Donald Trump played down the reports Friday and questioned whether Iran had carried out the attack.

“I think Minnesota is behind it,” Trump said. “I don’t believe there was an Iranian cyberattack.”

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who served as Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ running mate in the most recent election, rejected Trump’s remarks.

“This is what modern warfare looks like,” Walz said.

After Trump spoke, federal officials said privately that Iran remained the main suspect, though they stressed that investigators had not yet obtained conclusive evidence.

‘No freedom’: OpenAI boss Sam Altman sparks frenzy after dystopian prediction

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has warned people may be left with no freedom or privacy in a future controlled by artificial intelligence.

“I’m particularly nervous about 10 years from now if we overreact to AI safety. And so we say, look, everyone, you’re going to get a cure for cancer, you’re going to have material abundance, but you will have no freedom, you will have no agency, it will be a perfect surveillance state.

“There will be no privacy. And that’s what you’re going to get. You’re going to get great comfort, but there will be nothing left in the world for you to really do. Nothing that really matters.
