The US and Israel orchestrated the mass migrant crossing from Morocco into Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta to punish Madrid for its refusal to bow to pressure on the Middle East conflicts, Iran’s embassy in Kenya has suggested. Spain has been at odds with Washington and West Jerusalem over the Gaza war and strikes on Iran.

Over the past several days, roughly 50,000 to 60,000 migrants crossed from Morocco into Ceuta by land and sea in numbers equivalent to some 70% of the enclave’s regular population. The local authorities admitted they had been “completely overwhelmed” by the sudden surge.

The crisis, the largest human traffic invasion in the EU’s history, claimed the lives of at least 86 people, a toll expected to rise further. Many of the victims drowned in the sea or were crushed in the stampede at border checkpoints.

On Friday, the Iranian Embassy in Nairobi described the migrant surge as “an operation organized by Washington and Tel Aviv – coordinated with certain neighboring authorities – to destabilize Spain.”

It also branded the crisis “a gift to Europe’s far right” and “punishment for the country that dared to challenge the American Empire and its Israeli henchmen,” warning that “the empire never tolerates defiance.”

Neither the US nor Israel commented on the accusation. However, Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon slammed Spain’s handling of the crisis. “Spain, which never misses an opportunity to lecture Israel, has declared a state of emergency in Ceuta following the crisis over its immigration policy”, Danon wrote on X. “Maybe before it continues lecturing us, it’s time it explained to the world why it still maintains colonial enclaves in Africa.”

Spanish Transport Minister Oscar Puente responded to the post saying, “Well, it all seems to be becoming quite clear.” Far-right US commentator Alex Jones separately claimed “Israel launched an Islamic invasion of Spain,” alleging Washington backed the move. Catalan Republican Left (ERC) parliamentary spokesman Gabriel Rufian also suggested that the migration crisis was serving US and Israeli interests.

The comments come against a backdrop of deep acrimony between Madrid and Israel over the Gaza conflict and the US-Israeli war on Iran. Spain recognized Palestine in May 2024, accused Israel of “genocide” in Gaza, and has permanently pulled its ambassador from Israel over its opposition to strikes on Iran while closing its airspace to US aircraft involved in the attack.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar accused Madrid of “standing with tyrants” while US President Donald Trump blasted Spain, saying that it “has been very bad” to NATO. Iran, meanwhile, has praised Spain for its “principled” position on the war.

The highest-ranking US general in Europe informed the Pentagon this week that he does not have enough naval units to protect Israel against potential Iranian missile strikes, according to a report by the Washington Post on Saturday.

General Alexus Grynkewich, the head of US European Command (EUCOM), notified senior Pentagon officials in writing that without another navy destroyer, he will be forced to choose between defending the US "homeland" and defending Israel. The US Navy has shouldered a significant burden in waging the war, including responsibility for blockading Iranian ports in response to the Islamic Republic's closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

EUCOM is responsible for protecting Israel from the Mediterranean and deterring any Russian ground incursion into NATO member states.

The US Navy has five destroyers deploying from Rota, Spain, with a sixth expected later this year. They face maintenance issues due to lengthy missions. The US is also reportedly experiencing a shortage of missile interceptors, which are costly to manufacture and hard to restock.

Pentagon assessments conducted earlier in the war showed that US forces have "shouldered the brunt of defending Israel from Iranian ballistic missiles."

Washington has used more of its defensive weapons, including the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) and naval interceptors, to defend Israel from Iranian missile and drone attacks than Israel has used of its own interceptor stocks.

US inventories of Patriot missiles have now fallen below 1,000 and THAAD inventories to about 250, according to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

Israel has not participated in the war on Iran since Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and ceasefire in mid-June. Trump resumed attacks on Iran three weeks ago.

New Jersey Offers Taxpayer-Funded Legal Services To Noncitizens Improperly Registered To Vote

This week, New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill revealed that more than 6,600 noncitizens ended up on its voter rolls, with nearly 400 of them casting ballots between June 2023 and June 2024.

Despite saying the situation is unacceptable and claiming that she is being proactive to fix it, her administration has also begun steering the same noncitizens toward taxpayer-funded legal help.

Sherrill promptly blamed the software vendor, IDEMIA, for the problem.

"Let me be clear: this entire situation is unacceptable," Sherrill said Tuesday. "It's unacceptable that the vendor released software with such a glaring error, it's unacceptable that the MVC took a year to get this issue fixed and it's unacceptable that no one in the previous administration brought this to light, demanded accountability or took action when it happened years ago."

However, they dispute her characterization and have offered a different characterization of who was responsible.

"IDEMIA works with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, and has for more than 40 years, to support the process through which eligible individuals may indicate their interest in registering to vote when applying for or renewing a driver's license or state-issued identification card," the company said in a statement. According to IDEMIA, New Jersey's own Division of Elections, the body charged with validating and adjudicating every registration IDEMIA passed along, is ultimately responsible.

MVC is even switching to a new vendor. Earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security reported that roughly 250,000 noncitizens were registered to vote across four states - California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Nevada. New Jersey accounted for 35,152 of those registrations, more than five times the 6,600 figure Sherrill's administration has acknowledged. The gap suggests the state has disclosed only a portion of the problem, and it raises the question of how the smaller number became the official one. Note that DHS has not publicly detailed its methodology for the higher figure, and fact-checkers have treated the larger claims with caution.

New Jersey's website now tells noncitizens who were improperly registered to vote to contact the Division of Elections or their county's Commissioner of Registration to have their names removed.

"A recently discovered error in a vendor's software revealed that approximately 6,600 people were improperly registered to vote between June 2023 and June 2024 after completing a transaction at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission," the page states. "These individuals indicated they were not United States citizens, and they did not attest to being eligible to vote during this transaction. But the software erroneously transmitted these individuals for voter registration processing regardless."

Microsoft co-founder and private citizen Bill Gates received top security clearance from the Department of Energy (DOE), giving him access to deep government secrets for seven years, according to a letter obtained by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).

The billionaire was given “Q security clearance” from 2014 to 2021, beginning during Barack Obama’s presidency and overlapping Dr. Anthony Fauci’s controversial and powerful tenure heading the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), according to the Daily Caller’s reporting of the letter.

Sen. Paul requested the letter be entered into the Congressional record during Wednesday’s committee hearing where the now retired disease doctor evoked Fifth Amendment protection more than 100 times when faced with questions.

“Q” top secret clearance “typically applies to positions involving nuclear weapons design, national laboratories, critical energy infrastructure and classified scientific research,” according to the National Security Law Firm (NSLF).

The clearance for longtime vaccine advocate Gates begs the question as to whether he was involved in any kind of virus weaponization or deeply classified scientific research, or at the very least, why did he need to know about it.

The Daily Caller News Foundation’s requested comment from the DOE and the Gates Foundation but as of Sunday was still waiting for a response, as well as one from Sen. Paul’s office.

Dr. Fauci, evoking the Fifth, stonewalled a wide variety of questions during the hearing, including about his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and role his agency may have played in funding the possible creation of the deadly virus in a Chinese research lab.

The Caller reported that “emails showed Fauci communicating with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, an executive at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and a Chinese health official whom Fauci told that the two countries would ‘get through this together.’”

Since shortly after the Covid pandemic, Paul, himself an M.D., has been trying to hold Fauci accountable for his role that heavily influenced masking, social distancing and shutdowns during the deadly outbreak.

The Wuhan lab, suspected as causing the Covid leak, was conducting research into “gain of function” where scientists manipulate viruses to make them more powerful and infectious to anticipate creating better vaccines.

Fauci’s NIAFD funded research at the lab, which also was developing biological weapon technology, Paul alleged at the hearing. The 2014 to 2021 period when Gates had the clearance corresponds with the years Fauci was funding gain of function studies, according to Paul.

Paul discussed the danger of that research late last month on Fox News.

“The blame equally should go not only to Chinese authorities, but to Anthony Fauci and all those who advocated for this,” Paul said. “Look, Bill Gates has been over there recently. Bill Gates is the largest funder of trying to find these viruses in remote caves and bring them to big cities.”

Paul continued, “What happened in China is they went 8 to 10 hours south of Wuhan, 2 to 300 feet deep into a cave, found viruses and took them back to a city of 15 million.”

We should be talking about the government’s growing network of detention centers and its family-separation policies, which have resulted in an estimated 145,000 American children experiencing the detention of at least one parent—including more than 22,000 U.S.-citizen children whose entire household of co-resident parents has been detained.

We should be talking about license-plate readers, facial recognition, government databases and artificial intelligence capable of turning our movements and associations into a digital dossier on every person in America.

We should be talking about masked government agents, endless war, disappearing constitutional safeguards and an imperial presidency accountable to no one.

Instead, we are trapped in a vicious loop of nonsense, mania, political demagoguery and manufactured spectacle while the country goes to hell in a handbasket.

Every day—sometimes every hour—brings another outrage, another threat, another vulgar display of power, another self-glorifying meme, another political provocation and another distraction demanding our attention.

Before we can fully comprehend one assault on the Republic, another takes its place.

That is not merely the chaos surrounding this government.

It is one of the ways this government maintains power.

Keep the public angry, exhausted, frightened and distracted. Force everyone to chase the latest outrage. Crowd out serious scrutiny with political theater. Then push past another constitutional boundary while no one is able to keep track of what has already been lost.

This is how every crisis appears fleeting and every constitutional violation merely the latest controversy in an endless political spectacle.

Taken together, however, these are not isolated events.

They are tests.

Donald Trump is not defending the Constitution. He is testing how much of it he can violate before anyone stops him.

He is testing whether a president can wage war without Congress. He is testing whether federal power can be turned into personal power. He is testing whether dissent can be punished without formally outlawing speech. He is testing whether masked government agents can operate as a secret police force beyond public scrutiny and constitutional accountability. He is testing whether the government can watch, track and profile everyone without meaningful limits. He is testing whether the Twenty-Second Amendment, which limits a president to two terms in office, means what it says.

Most of all, he is testing how much abuse the American people will tolerate before exhaustion, fear, distraction and partisan loyalty wear down their willingness to resist.

That is the real constitutional crisis confronting America.

Trump has turned constitutional government into a continuous test of submission: He pushes beyond a boundary and waits. Will Congress resist? Will the courts intervene? Will government officials refuse? Will the public object? Or will everyone retreat, rationalize, delay and adjust?

If no one stops him, the violation becomes precedent. Then he pushes farther.

This is how a republic is dismantled—not necessarily through one dramatic declaration of dictatorship, but through a succession of constitutional violations that go unanswered long enough to become the new normal.

US President Donald Trump’s media company will start charging for special access to his Truth Social posts, which could affect national security matters and financial markets.

On Saturday, Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) rolled out its new subscription-based data service, Truth API. For $100,000 a month, customers, including Wall Street trading firms, will get posts from the president before other Truth Social users.

In the past, Trump's social media posts have moved markets, and the profits of many top trading firms, hedge funds, and financial services firms depend heavily on the speed at which they can trade off such news.

"Markets already move on Truth Social posts," Interim Chief Executive Officer of TMTG Kevin McGurn said in a July press release.

"Truth API delivers a direct, licensed, real-time feed of the platform's most market-moving Truths while advancing our strategy to monetize proprietary assets through a high-margin, recurring revenue stream. As adoption grows, we expect Truth API to become a meaningful, ongoing source of revenue for the company, creating lasting value for shareholders."

Trump could financially benefit from new Truth Social venture

However, the president is by far Truth Social’s biggest celebrity, boasting 13 million followers, as of Sunday afternoon Israel time. He also owns about 41% of TMTG through a trust one of his children oversees.

This means Trump could stand to benefit significantly from the new service.

Critics of the move say that this is a clear example of Trump promoting insider trading and trying to influence the markets in his favor.

On Wednesday, Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts) and Adam Schiff (D-California) asked the U.S. securities regulator to probe whether the plan to sell early access to Trump's social media posts breaks the law, according to a letter reviewed by Reuters.

"This appears to be an outrageous abuse of the President's office for his personal benefit that undermines everyday investors and the integrity of our markets, while enriching Wall Street and other wealthy insiders," Warren and Schiff wrote.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland) launched an investigation into the matter on Friday.

“The Truth API is only the latest example of President Trump’s efforts to monetize the power of his office to influence markets. Trump has repeatedly used Truth Social to promote companies shortly after investing in them, including firms whose fortunes are shaped by government policy and decisions made by his own Administration,” Raskin wrote in a press release.

“The President of the United States should be using his office to ‘take Care’ that laws are enforced and to advance the public interest. Instead, Trump is, once again, using it to enrich in spectacular fashion himself and his family and corporate cronies, destroying the integrity of financial markets in the process.”

In response, a TMTG spokesperson said that the Democrats “must have invented a new theory of 'insider trading' based on publicly available information."

Fears stem from a copyright lawsuit brought against AI company Anthropic in the United States by book authors. The practice is now understood to be widespread among generative AI companies, and recent reports suggest intermediaries are stepping up to facilitate the process. Australian secondhand booksellers are wondering if they have been caught up in the AI supply chain after they recently experienced waves of orders that did not fit with usual customer patterns.

Multiple vendors confirmed to Guardian Australia they had received orders from a Canadian company called Zoom Books, which describes itself as a book recycler. The orders usually came through large secondhand marketplaces like Abebooks or Biblio, where inventory can range from cheap paperbacks to rare, expensive items.

Delfina Manor, who runs Good Reading Secondhand Books in Benalla, Victoria, said she received orders from Zoom Books in May amounting to three full boxes, but had to write to the company and ask them not to order in such volume again.

“They ordered, paid in advance, and they didn’t quibble over the postage … [but] it would have been about 30 to 40 books, and so finding them, packing them, making sure you hadn’t missed one out … It was just driving me nuts,” Manor said.

The latest discussion was triggered by a widely shared tweet claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu considered policies in the 1990s relating to the use of Palestinian bodies for medical purposes.

“Taking organs from dead terrorists for transplantation into Israelis? I’ll check if the idea is legally feasible,” Netanya is reported saying according to an image of an official Israeli government document shared on X. The Israeli prime minister did not reject the proposal — he rolled it (or promised to roll it) over to the legal experts.

Netanyahu was reported to have expressed interest in the idea, writing that he would examine whether it was “applicable under Israeli law.” Though the document appears official, the authenticity and context of the document circulating online have not been independently verified.

Social media users subsequently questioned whether this marked the beginning of a policy of organ harvesting.

The renewed allegations draw on confirmed admissions by Israeli officials that, during the 1990s, organs were removed at Israel’s main state forensic facility, the L Greenberg National Institute of Forensic Medicine — commonly known as the Abu Kabir forensic institute — in Tel Aviv.

The institute, which conducts autopsies and provides forensic services for the Israeli state, was found to have removed organs from the bodies of Palestinians, Israelis and foreign workers without their families’ consent. Authorities later acknowledged that corneas, skin, heart valves and bones had been taken during autopsies without authorisation, describing the practice as having occurred years earlier and insisting it had been stopped.

Although these admissions related to unauthorised organ retention rather than a declared harvesting policy, they continue to fuel speculation about the broader treatment of Palestinian bodies.

Human rights organisations estimate that Israel continues to hold the bodies of hundreds of Palestinians. The policy, combined with recent reports of unidentified human remains being returned to Gaza in sealed bags following months of military operations, has intensified suspicion online.

Mary Turfah, a writer and surgical resident trained in anthropology at Yale and Middle Eastern South Asian and African Studies at Columbia, writing recently in The Baffler, examined what she described as the political management of Palestinian bodies.

Turfah argues that the treatment of Palestinian bodies is not incidental but structural. She describes how Israel has retained bodies, buried them in numbered graves and delayed their return to families, framing these practices as part of a wider system of control. The power exercised over Palestinians, she suggests, does not end with death. Instead, the state continues to determine when and how bodies are released, identified or buried.

On organ removal specifically, Turfah situates it within a wider pattern of state control. She refers to past admissions that organs were taken without family consent and treats that episode as part of a longer history in which Palestinian bodies are treated as available to the state even after death.

First half of 2026, small business bankruptcies jumped by 50% compared to 2025.

Large corporate bankruptcies are at levels of 2010 during the recession.

Personal bankruptcies continue to increase by 10% to 11% 2025 and 2026.

Trump is too busy with all his wars to pay attention to America priorities, according to him. But these are the Golden Years. In history, the Golden Years were touted from 1924 thru 1929 before the stock market crashed and the Great Depression took hold. Is that what Trump is alluding to?

Before the Golden Years, we had the Robber Barons. In 1859, the New York Times coined the phrase as applicable to the Vanderbilts who extracted shipping tolls. The term coincided with the wealthy, the powerful, and the unethical who used exploitive practices to amass wealth.

Muckrakers: Investigative journalists who began a campaign of informing the public of the corruption imposed by our Government beginning in 1900. Turning away from the journalism of time – sensationalism, the Muckrakers uncovered and exposed. Teddy Roosevelt embraced the Muckrakers – creating the label from Pilgrims Progress. Today, we have degraded significantly wherein lies, propaganda, sensationalism, and abject libel are the basis of most of our MSM.

The Robber Barons tactics included unfettered consumption and destruction of natural resources, influencing high levels of government, wage slavery, squashing competition by acquiring their competitors, and the creation of monopolies and trusts to evade taxes and control markets. It became known as the Gilded Age. In addition to the Vanderbilts, the Rockefellers, Morgans, and Carnegies were notable for their corruption – The Big Club is centuries old – not decades.

Trump has amassed a small fortune from his wars, but it pales in comparison to his Pay-For-Play Pardons. Get out of jail free cards are being handed out like candy canes. If you can afford them given the price tag is $2 million – technically, a form of extortion. These ‘pardons’ release these convicted criminals from restitution amounting into the billions as taxpayers who were defrauded now get nothing.

The original purpose of presidential pardons was to provide mercy, fix legal mistakes, and help the country heal after a crisis. Mercy denotes forgiveness in order to serve the public interest. But Trump’s pardons have been about serving the Trump interest. It isn’t about mercy, it is about lining his pockets – it is illegal and will never be prosecuted any more than Trump intends to prosecute any former political figures.

Ruining the legacy he maintained during his campaign, the drudging up of the 2020 election is irrelevant to taxpayers. The Biden economy is irrelevant. Demonizing Democrats is yet another boring eye roll. Trump’s advisors would seem to have an IQ factor in the double digits as Trump pushes forward on behalf of the Israeli military industrial complex. Boeing has a backlog of orders pushing 6180 unfilled orders that many countries are now looking to cancel outright. Lockheed has a backlog of $230 billion. Northrup has a backlog of $104.69 billion.
