Anthony Fauci, Our Own Wizard of Oz
We’ve been preparing all wrong for pandemics by imagining bureaucratic wizards will manage them best.

RFK just called out Dana Bash for the media's role in lying to America about covid:
"All you know how to do is repeat things people told you and say 'trust the experts.' That's what you did during the covid. Now, we know that Dr. Fauci, the expert, was lying about everything… And now you're rolling out the experts again for something you have no personal knowledge of."

Hans Mahncke @HansMahncke
I love this from RFK Jr. He is describing institutional lawfare, something that is rarely discussed and even more rarely understood.
Institutional lawfare is the use of official authority, professional credentials, prestigious institutions, legal status, procedural legitimacy, and supposedly neutral rules, sanitized through scientific bodies, academic publications, regulatory agencies, and other quasi-official channels, then laundered through the media, to achieve political ends that could never be achieved through ordinary democratic persuasion.
Not every stupid or destructive act by an institution is lawfare. It becomes lawfare when institutional power is deliberately used to circumvent democratic processes and impose outcomes the public would never freely accept.
That is what happened during Covid. They did not lie about everything because they were merely incompetent or happened to get everything wrong. They lied because they wanted to force through mass mail-in voting, remove Trump, conduct a mass experiment on the population with an experimental drug, normalize censorship, and impose a political program that could not have survived honest public debate.
This is the subject of a long-form essay I am now writing for http://counterlawfare.org, examining how the institutional lawfare sausage is made, how political objectives are disguised as neutral expertise and legitimate procedure, and why this form of power is so difficult to expose and resist. I will post it here in the coming week or so, once it is ready.
