Army Launches Project Manager for Space Superiority and Exploitation

On July 31, the Product Manager for the Army Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) and the Product Manager for Tactical Space Superiority (PdM TSS) are aligned under the newly created Project Manager Space Superiority and Exploitation (PM SSE), which operates under the Capability Program Executive for Intelligence and Spectrum Warfare (CPE ISW).
Col. Carter Deekenswill serve as the Project Manager for Space Superiority and Exploitation (PM SSE).
He leads an organization responsible for delivering advanced space and sensing capabilities that transform data from national, space, and terrestrial sources into actionable intelligence and space capabilities for Army operations.
“I could not be more excited for this opportunity,” said Deekens. “This is truly a full-circle moment for me, as Army TENCAP is where I began my acquisition program management career nearly 15 years ago.”
The teaming of TENCAP and PdM TSS during a time of rapid technological developments in today’s battlefield on land and space called for the creation of PM SS&E.
The Army has broadened the scope of the TENCAP mission in recognition of its ability to rapidly deliver critical capabilities to the Warfighter — transforming the Army now for future warfare by combining PdM TENCAP and PdM TSS under PM SSE.
“Bringing Army TENCAP and PdM TSS together creates a tremendous opportunity to accelerate the delivery of critical intelligence capabilities, enabling the Army to outpace emerging threats and ensure our warfighters have the information they need to make timely, informed decisions,” Deekens said.
PM SSE will bring these improved capabilities to battlefield commanders for multi-domain operations worldwide.
Additionally, by integrating capabilities, this newly formed organization is enabling intelligence support to critical protection operations.
Evolving for the Multi-Domain Fight
The PM SSE mission combines the legacy missions of TENCAP and PdM TSS into a single undertaking that delivers critical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and electronic warfare capabilities for commanders and Soldiers.
Because the Army’s next fight will occur across multiple domains, successful operations in and through the space domain will be critical to mission success.

A Legacy of Space Intelligence
The foundation for PM SSE was laid decades ago. The Army created the Army Space Program Office (ASPO) in 1973, recognizing the need to deliver critical ISR to Soldiers gathered by satellites.
ASPO was later renamed TENCAP in 2013 after the Army leveraged space intelligence to support Operation Desert Storm and the fight against terrorists in Afghanistan.
Technological evolution has consistently kept pace with battlefield requirements during these periods.
For example, in the mid-1980s, TENCAP moved away from analyzing images on film to soft-copy analysis, which helped significantly expedite intelligence analysis and dissemination.
Pacing the Modern Threat
Lessons learned from decades of experience will be applied by PM SS&E. The organization’s mission is to enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architectures.
Moving forward, PM SS&E will conduct advanced development and rapid prototyping to enhance, inform, and modernize Army capabilities and Concepts of Operation (CONOPs) to effectively pace the modern threat.

French Air and Space Force conclude NATO Baltic Air Policing mission in Lithuania

RAMSTEIN, Germany - The French Air and Space Force has concluded its NATO Baltic Air Policing (BAP) deployment at Šiauliai Air Base, Lithuania, after completing two consecutive rotations in support of safeguarding NATO airspace over the Baltic region.

During the four-month deployment, French Rafale fighter aircraft and personnel maintained continuous Quick Reaction Alert (QRA), ensuring NATO's ability to respond rapidly to potential airspace violations.
Operating as part of NATO's Baltic Air Policing mission under enhanced Vigilance Activity (eVA) Eastern Sentry, the detachment reinforced the Alliance's deterrence and defence posture while working closely with Baltic nations and Allied Air Forces.
Across the deployment, the French Air and Space Force flew more than 540 flying hours while responding to almost 40 Alpha Scrambles and conducting nearly 70 training Scrambles.
One major milestone during the deployment was when a French Rafale destroyed a drone over Latvia during an operational mission, marking the first operational employment of the MICA missile by the French Air and Space Force in the Baltic region.
"This mission has been a milestone for the BAP Block 71 detachment,” said a French Detachment spokesperson, whose name was withheld at the discretion of France.
“Operationally, the MICA missile is deployed by the French Air and Space Force all over the world but using it here for the first time in the Baltic states, to destroy a drone over Latvia, was a real tactical success for NATO, France and the Baltic states.”
The deployment featured a broad programme of multinational training with Allied fighter detachments, including Romanian F-16s, Polish MiG-29s and Agile Combat Employment (ACE) activities in Sweden.
French aircrews also conducted joint ground attack and live air-to-ground gunnery training with Belgian, German and Lithuanian forces, while Rafale C crews carried out joint counter-uncrewed aerial systems (c-UAS) missions with Estonian and Lithuanian partners to detect and engage training drones.
Additional training included Close Air Support (CAS), Beyond Visual Range (BVR) air combat, familiarization flights and multinational training Scrambles with Lithuanian, Estonian, Latvian, Romanian, Polish, German and Canadian forces.

Ensuring the uninterrupted protection of NATO airspace, the French Air and Space Force detachment will now hand over responsibilities to the incoming Italian Air Force Detachment, who will conduct Air Defence mission from Šiauliai Air Base, Lithuania over the Baltics.
This deployment marks a shift from NATO’s Air Policing mission to a broader Air Defence role, aimed at providing a more flexible approach across the alliance’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) framework within NATO’s area of responsibility.

Announcement of opportunity for the ESA Academy Experiments Programme 2026-2027

The call for proposals for the 2026-2027 cycle of the ESA Academy Experiments programme is now open! University teams are invited to submit ideas for scientific and technical experiments.
The Experiments programme offers free consultation prior to submitting an experiment proposal. Successful applicants will be supported in the design, development and operations of their experiment onboard one of the available platforms.
The deadline to submit applications is Sunday 22 November 2026 at 23:59 CET.
The ESA Academy Experiments programme is a hands-on initiative offering bachelor’s, master’s and PhD students from eligible states the opportunity to design, build and test their own experiment in a facility that is not commonly accessible to students.
Two research platforms are available for this opportunity: the Parabolic Flights and the Orbital Robotics Lab.
The parabolic flight campaign, taking place on the Airbus A310 Zero-G, consists of a series of three flights of 31 parabolas, which individually provide about 22 seconds of centi-milli-gravity levels (10-2g - 10-3g).
The Orbital Robotics Lab includes Europe’s largest 2D free floating testbed, a motion capturing system, maneuverable floating platforms, as well as a satellite docking mechanism to support your experiment idea.
Thanks to the friction reduction, this facility provides a suitable analogue to the microgravity space environment, simulating microgravity in three dimensions (2 translational, 1 rotational).
Participants will receive expert guidance from space professionals at every stage of their project, from kick-off to the experiment operations and analysis.
Through participation in a space project in a professional and international environment, they gain engineering and scientific competences, experience in the execution of complex projects, and industry-relevant soft skills.
The programme is structured in four key phases:
Phase 1: Listen and Learn, 31 July – 22 November 2026.
In the “Listen and Learn” phase, students are invited to follow an online module which includes a series of pre-recorded lectures about systems engineering, project and team management, ESA and its exploration and technology roadmaps, and the different platforms that are offered by the Experiments programme. These online lectures guide teams in making informed decisions about participating in the subsequent phases of the ESA Academy Experiments programme and offer insights on how to best approach their project ideas.

Phase 2: Consult and Confer, 1 September – 22 November 2026.
Once initiated, the Consult and Confer phase runs alongside Phase 1. After following the above lectures, teams have the possibility to discuss and refine their experiment ideas as well as the proposal directly with ESA Academy representatives.
They are encouraged to ask any questions they might have to receive guidance and prepare the best proposal possible. Early consultation is highly recommended but does not influence the selection outcome.
This phase ends on 22 November 2026 with the proposal submission deadline.

Phase 3: Submit and Succeed, 22 November 2026 – end January 2027.
During the “Submit and Succeed” phase, applications are reviewed. Shortlisted teams are invited to present their project live to a panel of experts for in-depth discussions.
The final result of the selection process is announced around January 2027. Selected teams then have the opportunity to attend a multi-day workshop setting the basics for a successful implementation of their experiment.
Phase 4: Perform and Publish, following selection.
Kick-off of the selected projects will mark the beginning of the ultimate phase, “Perform and Publish”, which lasts around 9 to 12 months, depending on the experiment’s intended platform.
With the support of ESA Academy and platform experts, teams will design and develop their experiment concept into a tangible reality while gaining extensive knowledge about the design, review, assembly, and testing processes.
During the campaign, teams will have the opportunity to run their experiment on the selected platform and gather the data required for analysis, enabling them to draw conclusions from their research.
Four months after the campaign, teams will be required to submit a final version of the documentation, marking the conclusion of their project with ESA.

At least seven people, including three children, have been killed in a Ukrainian drone attack on a crowded beach area near the Russian Black Sea resort of Gelendzhik, according to local officials.
The strike on Monday also wounded around 40 people and damaged civilian infrastructure, Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.
He described the attack as a “tragedy” deliberately targeting civilian sites after debris from a downed drone fell on the resort village of Arkhipo-Osipovka.
“What happened today was a deliberate strike by the Kiev regime against civilians with no connection whatsoever to military infrastructure. This cynical and inhumane terrorist attack targeting children cannot be justified,” he wrote on Max.
The governor ordered the local authorities to provide all necessary assistance to the victims and the families of those killed.
Russian Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik shared footage of the attack on social media, showing the moment a drone struck a densely packed beach near Gelendzhik, sending beachgoers scrambling for cover.
Gelendzhik Mayor Aleksey Bogodistov later said the number of people injured in the attack had risen to 47.
He said extra medical staff from the city hospital and a local rehabilitation center had been sent to the scene, while psychologists and volunteers were helping victims. Those with serious injuries were being transferred to hospitals in nearby cities, he added.
A total of 21 people, including three children, have been hospitalized, according to Russia’s Health Ministry. Nine of the injured are in serious condition, including at least two children.
This is not the first time Ukrainian forces have targeted Russian resorts. Just last week, 12 people, including five children, were killed when drones struck a hotel in the town of Kirillovka in Russia’s Zaporozhye Region.
The popular holiday destination lies more than 100 km from the nearest front line and has no military facilities nearby.
Another major tragedy occurred in 2024, when four people, including two children, were killed and more than 150 others injured after the Ukrainian military fired five US-supplied ATACMS missiles at the Crimean city of Sevastopol.
Russian air defenses intercepted four of the missiles, but a fifth, though damaged, veered off course and detonated its cluster warhead over a crowded beach.
Ukraine has sharply intensified its long-range drone campaign in recent weeks, targeting oil facilities, warehouses, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure deep inside Russian territory as Kiev’s forces continue to suffer setbacks on the battlefield.
Last month, Russia announced the capture of the key Ukrainian stronghold of Konstantinovka in northwestern Donbass, before launching an offensive toward the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, the last two major cities in the region still under Ukrainian control.
Moscow has described Kiev’s drone raids as terrorist attacks deliberately targeting civilians. One of the deadliest recent incidents came in May, when Ukrainian drones struck a student dormitory in the Donbass town of Starobelsk, partially collapsing the five-story building and killing 21 people.
Russia has also stepped up long-range strikes on Ukraine’s military-industrial and logistical infrastructure, describing the campaign as retaliation for Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilian and energy facilities.
Moscow maintains that it targets only military sites and infrastructure supporting Ukraine’s armed forces.
Meanwhile, Russia has long argued that the Ukraine conflict is a NATO-backed proxy war against Moscow, pointing to the scale of Western military and financial aid to Kiev, as well as the unprecedented sanctions imposed on Russia over its military operation.
Commenting on Monday’s strike, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reiterated that countries supporting Kiev have become “sponsors of terrorism.”
“The sponsors of terrorism are NATO countries. Not long ago, NATO and the EU proclaimed zero tolerance for terrorism. Today, they themselves have become part of international terrorist activity,” Zakharova said, describing the Kiev leadership as a “terrorist gang.”

Ukraine Strikes Russian Drone Development University, Wildberries Logistics Hub, Crimea in Overnight Raid

Ukrainian drones struck targets across Russia and occupied Crimea, hitting a university in Belgorod reportedly involved in drone technology development, a major Wildberries logistics hub in Vladimir region, and several locations in Crimea, according to Russian and Ukrainian sources.
On Monday, drones attacked the Belgorod State Technological University (BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov), local outlet Pepel reported. Several strikes on the university grounds triggered a large fire, destroying one of the buildings.
The facility reportedly housed the development and testing of an automated drone control system based on the Russian-made “Milandr” microprocessor.
The university previously said the technology had civilian applications, including monitoring power lines, heating infrastructure, and aerial photography.
BSTU had also launched summer courses for school students focused on drone development. Russian authorities have not officially confirmed the strike on the university.
A separate drone attack hit a warehouse complex in Russia’s Vladimir region, Governor Alexander Avdeyev said.
“People have been evacuated. Emergency services are working at the scene,” he wrote on Telegram.
Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ identified the target as Wildberries’ “Vladimir – Vorshinskoye” logistics center, with videos from the scene appeared to show at least one drone striking the warehouse before a fire broke out.
The 58,500-square-meter (14.5-acre) facility opened in December 2024 and was due to expand to 175,000 square meters (43 acres) this year. It serves as a distribution hub for Moscow, central Russia, and the country’s northwest.
The strike appears to be part of a broader Ukrainian campaign against Wildberries’ logistics network.
According to Russian outlet Agentstvo, Ukrainian forces have targeted at least 18 Wildberries facilities over the past two weeks, damaging warehouses with a combined area of around 1 million square meters (247 acres) – about 38% of the retailer’s largest logistics hubs.
Among the largest facilities hit are warehouses in Elektrostal, Krasnodar, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Tambov, and Volgograd, with several suffering major fires and extensive damage.
Agentstvo estimated that logistics centers accounting for roughly 60% of Wildberries’ major warehouse capacity have now been targeted, suggesting Kyiv is increasingly seeking to disrupt Russia’s logistics infrastructure alongside military and energy assets.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian drones also targeted Russian-occupied Crimea overnight, according to Ukrainian monitoring channels Crimean Wind and Exilenova+.
Explosions were reported in the Saky district, Feodosia, Simferopol, and Kerch.
In Feodosia, Russian mobile air defense units attempted to intercept a drone, but it may have struck an area near a local oil depot, the channels reported.
In Kerch, a fire broke out near the Central Market and bus station, close to the Kerch port, with residents reporting flames near the port area.
Traffic on the Crimean Bridge was temporarily suspended amid the overnight attacks.

According to the statement, the IDF conducted strikes in the Deir al-Balah area in Gaza over the weekend, targeting and killing Fatair.
More recently, the Fatair had reportedly attempted to advance terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.

Iranian President Pezeshkian pledges support for Hamas, Palestinians in call with Hayya

A US official told The Post that the scale of the US strikes on Iran on Thursday was "about twice the size of the previous night," adding that the strikes were "wide, extensive, and impactful."
The US military struck Qeshm Island in southern Iran with a large-scale bomb on Thursday night that allegedly hit a family home, according to a New York Times report on Friday.
Iranian officials claimed that the strike had hit a family home, killing a couple and their two-year-old son. The other two children survived the strike, the officials added.
A NYT analysis of videos and satellite imagery found that the weapon used was likely to be a 2,000-pound (roughly 900kg) bomb, one of the largest conventional bombs used by the US military.
Weapons experts examined the size of the crater and munitions fragments found on Qeshm Island after the strike, and determined that the Mark-84 bomb may have been used. The NYT added that the strike's location and timing were consistent with when and where US forces were operating.

At least 35 people were killed and several others were wounded in a drone strike on a tribal court in Sudan's North Darfur state, the Emergency Lawyers group said.
The attack on the village of Al Zawiya Ghara, in the Al Serief locality, took place on Sunday at about 1pm local time, the rights organisation said.
According to preliminary information cited by the group, those killed were in and around the court as civilians gathered to hear local cases and resolve community disputes.
The Emergency Lawyers group alleged the strike was carried out by drones belonging to the Sudanese Armed Forces, although the military has not commented on the claim.
The attack also caused significant damage to the court building, which the group described as a civilian facility serving judicial and social functions for the area.
The organisation said the strike came amid ongoing military operations in North Darfur and the increased use of drones in the conflict, warning that attacks on civilian gatherings were worsening the humanitarian situation and increasing risks to civilians.
It condemned the attack and called for an independent and transparent investigation to establish the circumstances of the strike and to hold those responsible to account.
The village is under the control of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). It lies near the town of Kabkabiya, about 150 kilometres (93 miles) west of El Fasher, the army's last major stronghold in Darfur before its capture by the RSF during a major offensive in October last year.

This Bigfoot brouhaha is getting hairy!
Cornell University said it has never tested any supposed Sasquatch corpse — but the celebrity Bigfoot hunter who claims to have found the questionable remains said the denial is nothing more than an Ivy League coverup.
Charles Stuart, who bills himself as “Snake the Bigfoot Hunter,” shared last month what he claimed was a DNA test from Cornell University that proved the supposed 8-foot, 300-pound Sasquatch corpse he said he found in upstate New York’s Adirondack mountains was real, and nearly 60% Neanderthal.
Cornell University told The Post those claims are bogus.
“Cornell did not conduct any testing for [Stuart,] or present a report,” a spokesperson for the university said, also confirming that the documents posted on Stuart’s website marked as coming from the university are not a product of the Ivy League school.
But the huckster, however, adamantly denied fabricating the DNA test results, and claimed the university is conspiring to cover-up the truth about Dack, which is what he named the supposed corpse.
“CORNELL IS FLAT OUT LYING — I WILL NOT BE SILENCED,” Stuart wrote in a fiery response to The Post, flipping out when confronted that his test was a hoax or faked.
“This isn’t a dispute over the facts of the report — it’s panic over control. I bypassed the machine and went straight to the public.
I was warned from day one not to share this report. I released the unredacted DNA report anyway because I believe in transparency and the intelligence of the public,” Stuart continued.
The Bigfoot hunter even went as far as to say he can prove that the university is lying, and promised The Post he would be dropping a documentary that features a supposed lab technician whistleblower from the Cornell lab.
Stuart claims the scientist who performed the test is going to uncover the Ivy League conspiracy against Bigfoot and disclose the raw, dark truth that Dack is real, though he did not specify when that film would potentially drop.
“This is essentially a David VS Goliath story and we all know who wins in the end,” Stuart said.
Stuart made highly disputed claims that he found the decomposing Sasquatch carcass in 2024 — and quickly put the body on display for free at The Great New York State Fair last year, with his website claiming that 60,000 people passed through to see Dack.
Some critics have accused him of fabricating the DNA test to try and boost his fame and build more hype leading up to this year’s fair, which runs from Aug. 26 to Sept. 7.
He has already advertised that Dack will be back on display, though the exhibit is free again.
Sasquatch “expert” Matthew Moneymaker from the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization — a group founded in 1995 that is dedicated to investigating Sasquatch sightings across the United States — previously shared their doubts about the DNA test results on social media, calling Stuart both a hoaxer and a scammer.
The same group just “confirmed” what they believe to be an actual sighting in Connecticut with a man who claimed to come face-to-face with a Bigfoot.
Representatives from The Great New York State Fair did not respond to The Post’s request for comment on the controversial exhibit.

UFO spotted off Norfolk coast by RAF pilots during mission

Two RAF pilots claimed to have seen a UFO off the coast of Norfolk.
The sighting, which was highlighted last week by the UK Airprox Board, is said to have occurred during an air-to-air refuelling mission over the North Sea at Cromer in February.
The UK Airprox Board reports on incidents to improve air safety, covering near misses and unidentified objects.
One of the pilots in the tanker ducked as the object whizzed by.
The other pilot in the fighter jet, which was being refuelled, also claimed to have seen the unidentified object.
It is reported that the object missed the two RAF planes by just 100ft to 150ft.
The refuelling mission was taking part at 16,000ft at the time.
Whatever the mysterious object was, it did not appear on the pilot's radar as it shot past them at the time.
It comes after a revelation at Gatwick Airport which saw a pilot claim to see a "flying saucer" on their landing approach.

As U.S.-Iran hostilities continue to shake the region, an old and extraordinary allegation from Iranian state-aligned media is worth revisiting—not as proof of extraterrestrial contact, but as a warning about how UAP narratives can be turned into geopolitical weapons.
In January 2014, Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency circulated a report claiming the United States had been governed since 1945 by a secret extraterrestrial “shadow government.”
The story invoked a supposed alien agenda, alleged contact with President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and claims attributed to documents supposedly linked to former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported on the Fars publication and its allegations at the time. The claim takes on a different significance in the middle of a real geopolitical crisis.
The relevant question is no longer whether the 2014 story was credible—it was not supported by verifiable evidence—but whether Tehran could revive, expand or strategically deploy the same narrative if it claimed to possess proof that the United States has been governed by a secret extraterrestrial “shadow government” since 1945.
To be clear, there is currently no public, credible evidence that Iran possesses such proof, or that the United States has cooperated with extraterrestrial beings, or has hidden an alien program from Congress or the public.

A government at war does not need authentic alien artifacts to exploit public interest in alien artifacts.
It needs a plausible narrative, carefully timed releases, selectively edited footage, ambiguous radar tracks, alleged insider testimony, or claims that cannot immediately be disproven because the underlying information is classified.
If Iran were to announce that it possessed UAP-related material—whether real, misunderstood, fabricated, foreign-made, or simply unexplained—the first battlefield would be public confidence.
Tehran could frame the release as evidence that Washington has concealed advanced technology, lied to its own citizens, or maintained secret arrangements beyond democratic oversight.
The immediate target would not necessarily be scientists. It would be American public trust.

It could also muddy the line between authentic classified aerospace programs, adversary technology, drone incursions and truly unresolved aerial events.
The strategic value would be especially high during sensitive diplomacy. A claimed Iranian “UAP disclosure” could be deployed to distract from sanctions negotiations, military setbacks, intelligence disclosures, weapons inspections or domestic unrest.
Tehran could offer supposed evidence through intermediaries, friendly media channels, foreign intelligence contacts, or international institutions—then demand political concessions, sanctions relief, security guarantees, or a halt to military action in exchange for access to the material. History

The legal problem for the United States would be just as serious as the public-relations problem.
If Iran released purported documents identifying U.S. facilities, defense contractors, aviation programs or alleged recovery sites, federal officials could face a difficult choice: deny the allegations and risk validating portions of the disclosures, or refuse substantive comment and allow speculation to intensify.
American intelligence agencies have confronted versions of that dilemma for decades. Genuine classified programs, especially aerospace, surveillance and weapons-development projects—can create the appearance of a cover-up when viewed without context. AARO itself noted that secrecy surrounding legitimate national-security programs has fueled public speculation about hidden extraterrestrial knowledge.
Iran could exploit that uncertainty with remarkable precision.
Still, extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. A grainy video, anonymous source, metal fragment, or government statement probably wouldn’t do much to establish ‘proof’ of an extraterrestrial U.S.-connection.
Without real and authenticated evidence, a revived Iranian claim that they have alien materials or proof that the “United States is being governed by a secret extraterrestrial “shadow government,” would be political theater—not disclosure.
But political theater can matter during war. It can move markets, influence public opinion, strain alliances and force governments to spend valuable time rebutting claims that were engineered to be impossible to conclusively disprove in real time.
Iran’s 2014 alien-shadow-government story may have been dismissed as fringe propaganda.
In today’s environment, however, it offers a revealing preview of how UAP narratives could be repackaged as a modern instrument of state pressure: not to prove that aliens are here, but to exploit the fact that millions of people believe governments may know more than they are saying.

Was the aircraft that caused a stir at Gimhae Airport a UFO?
On the August 1 broadcast of SBS's "Unanswered Questions," the program tracked an unidentified flying object that appeared at Gimhae Airport last May.
On May 19, a flight departing from Nagoya, Japan, and scheduled to arrive at Busan's Gimhae Airport around 9:30 p.m. suddenly diverted to Incheon International Airport.
The passenger plane headed to Incheon Airport after an incomprehensible commotion, during which takeoffs and landings were completely banned at Gimhae Airport and the runway was closed.
Without an accurate explanation for the sudden diversion, passengers took as long as 10 hours to reach a destination that usually takes just an hour and a half.
An informant, who was serving in a military unit inside the airport at the time, said he witnessed strange lights passing over the living quarters. Three green lights were moving in formation at a height equivalent to about the 10th floor of an apartment building.
Gimhae Airport is a no-fly zone for aviation security and also houses the Air Force, making it a highly security-sensitive area.
Accordingly, the Air Force and police conducted a search for the object. However, they were ultimately unable to identify the unknown flying object and closed the case, calling it an incident where lights were mistaken for an aircraft.
However, another informant played an internal military radio recording from the time, revealing that even command units were mobilized to chase the aircraft. Yet, after moving unpredictably for about two hours, the object disappeared, and its identity was never determined.
Last May, U.S. President Trump released videos of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) collected by the United States from around the world over the past 80 years. Amid growing interest in unidentified flying objects, what on earth was the identity of the aircraft spotted at Gimhae Airport?
Experts said that other objects similar to those seen at Gimhae Airport were communication satellites. However, they agreed that what appeared at Gimhae Airport was different and difficult to identify.
A drone expert raised the possibility that it was a drone, but also pointed out aspects that are hard to explain under the assumption of a drone, stating, "However, if it flew for about two hours, it would have been possible to identify it as a drone."
The broadcast drew attention to a 2023 interview in which Dr. Steven Greer, a prominent figure in the field of UFOs, stated, "After a giant UFO crashed, a building was built on top of it, and that place is South Korea."
And the building he pointed to was the Anyang Aviation Radio Beacon Station. The production team personally visited the Anyang Aviation Radio Beacon Station to investigate.
However, contrary to various rumors, there was nothing unusual. They could only confirm that the site was formerly home to a U.S. military base and was built by the U.S. military. As a result, the voltage system is also based on American standards.
The production team requested an interview with Dr. Greer regarding these details, but was ultimately declined.
A video expert stated that the released UAP videos generally have very low resolution and are mostly infrared or thermal camera footage, which naturally makes them seem bizarre.
He added that this makes it difficult to identify the aircraft from the footage. However, he noted that most of the objects captured in the videos are presumed to be weather balloons or distorted lights from conventional aircraft.

Another video filmed in California using a Nikon P1000 camera showed a distant object that many users struggled to identify.
Some compared its appearance to historical artwork depicting glowing fireballs, prompting speculation that similar unexplained objects may have been reported for centuries rather than just in the modern era.
Mexico Mine Theory Sparks Fresh Underground Alien Claims
Another claim that captured widespread attention involved a hiker exploring an abandoned mine in Baja California, Mexico.
The individual said strange interference began affecting his phone shortly after visiting the site before he allegedly noticed a metallic sphere repeatedly appearing nearby.
Several follow-up videos appeared to show the object returning on multiple occasions, leading viewers to speculate that something unusual might exist beneath the surrounding mountains.
The theory quickly expanded after internet users linked the location to long-standing rumours about a supposed underground alien base that conspiracy theorists claim once appeared on Google Earth before allegedly disappearing.
No credible evidence has been presented to support these claims, and there is no official confirmation that any hidden underground structure exists in the area.

In an interview with Matt Ford on The Good Trouble Show, whistleblower Matthew Brown described these so-called channels as "more of the same," arguing they simply route witnesses back into the same organizations that have already failed to earn their trust.
Brown, who emerged on the informant radar in 2025, revealed that he authored a report following a 4-year investigation into the Pentagon's secretive UFO program. And for the record, he is a former Pentagon metadata analyst (and therefore probably needs better protection!)
Brown warned that the latest initiative is "not a waiver of non-disclosure agreements to talk to the public," but instead encourages witnesses to report back to agencies he believes have a poor record of handling UAP claims.
He also revealed that he is deeply skeptical of the system after he accepted an invitation to speak to the ODNI (Office of the Director of National Intelligence) purely to discuss protective measures.
According to Brown, the original promise of protection that came with discussing a UAP protection problem “was never offered."
Instead, he said he was encouraged to approach the Intelligence Community Inspector General, describing it as "a fruitless endeavor, if not a trap itself." “They wanted to know what I knew”
Tellingly, Brown explained that during the meeting with ODNI – though he is shy about revealing who and when – the conversation quickly veered from whistleblower protection to what information he possessed and how he had obtained it.
"It definitely became clear that they were pumping me to see what I knew, how I knew it, and what I was prepared to say,"
claims Brown.
Brown said he eventually handed over documentation supporting his claims but was then "ghosted," receiving no meaningful follow-up from officials.
But worst of all is the claim from Brown that an ODNI agent later accused him of fabricating evidence laid out in his Immaculate Constellation dossier document.
Brown also claimed the same official now oversees whistleblower intake at the Intelligence Community Inspector General's office, a development he described as deeply troubling.
"No whistleblower should ever approach that organization," Brown said, arguing that trust in the process has been irreparably damaged.
Throughout the interview with Ford, Brown repeatedly positioned his story as a warning to future whistleblowers considering whether to use the government's newly promoted disclosure channels.
How the community reacted
This yet again feeds into the smoke-and-mirrors nature of how the UFO community sees things.
In the opinion of one Redditor, a whistleblower like David Grusch is more credible than Matthew Brown. And as Grusch had a significant yet sensational claim about secret government crash-retrieval programs and "non-human" spacecraft, it got him through the door.
Another commenter expressed concern that Brown, by attacking bureaucracy, “will definitely not advance whistleblowing,” and forecast the ruination of his life and livelihood.
It feels bitterly ironic when the official account of The Good Trouble Show is in agreement with their guests that protection channels are indeed a trap, but that Brown could well be in danger of falling in once again.

UFO History Is Being Shaped in Washington - No One Knows How This Ends

No one knows how this will end.
It could become one of the most consequential moments in human history. Or, ten years from now, it may be little more than a fascinating story in a White House memoir - a glimpse of what might have been.
Last month, Liberation Times reported, citing multiple sources, that a presidential speech confirming that some UFOs - officially described as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) - are of non-human origin had been prepared.
Liberation Times understands that the speech is now under consideration. It could be delivered before this November’s midterm elections. If it is not delivered by then, any plans could be abandoned.
The scale and gravity of what is unfolding have received remarkably little attention.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller is reportedly leading the administration’s work on UAP.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence has confirmed the creation of an Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Governance Board.
The interagency board brings together the military, law enforcement, the intelligence community and civilian agencies.
It is intended to coordinate investigations, improve the collection and analysis of information and assist with the ongoing UAP declassification process, which commenced in May 2026 following a directive from President Trump.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has also confirmed that several groups of outside experts are advising the board.
Yet only one of those groups and its members has been publicly identified: the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Science Advisory Council.
The purpose, expertise and membership of the other advisory groups remain unknown. Those involved have not publicly revealed their roles.
Together, these developments point to an organised effort spanning the White House, the United States intelligence community and several fields of outside expertise.
Then, on Saturday 1 August, came perhaps the clearest indication yet that the White House is serious.
Representative Eric Burlison released a memorandum that the Trump administration had authorised his office to make public.
Signed the previous day by Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence Aaron Lukas, it implements President Trump’s direction to release current and former government employees and contractors from nondisclosure agreements, oaths and other commitments when reporting information about UAP to authorised officials.
It also directs that such information be provided to the newly created presidential task force - the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters - for review and potential declassification.
The memorandum was distributed to 18 senior intelligence, law-enforcement and military officials. Intelligence agencies have 30 days to appoint designated representatives and inform their workforces of the President’s order.
Its most extraordinary language goes further. It states that any prior or existing nondisclosure agreement that prevents information from being reported to the President or his designated representatives is no longer in force.
It must be noted that the memorandum provides no immunity or protection for those threatened or punished for violating NDAs.
However, these steps provide perhaps the clearest evidence yet that Trump is seriously contemplating further disclosure.
Liberation Times understands that advocates are now competing to shape what form any disclosure would take should the President decide to proceed.
Sources familiar with the current effort say some private defence contractors and individuals with ties to the CIA are resisting broader disclosure.
Others involved in current efforts - from participants in White House discussions to members of the unidentified advisory groups - have remained silent.

One notable exception is television personality Dr Phil McGraw, a personal friend of the President.
In the latest episode of his podcast, released on 30 July, McGraw asked listeners to imagine the government standing at a podium and declaring: “We are not alone.”
He described such a declaration as potentially the biggest news in human history. He also warned that releasing the information without preparation or context could allow fear, rumour and exploitation to fill the void.
Taken alone, this might be dismissed as a dramatic thought experiment.
But McGraw later made several far more consequential statements.
He said he is engaged in an active dialogue with President Trump and the administration about the issue.
He also said he had advised the White House that any disclosure would require careful pacing and preparation.
McGraw then stated plainly: “I know President Trump is serious about this.”
His own sense of urgency became even clearer when the conversation turned to mental-health preparedness.
Speaking with clinical psychologist Dr Jennice Vilhauer, McGraw argued that an emergency response could not be constructed from scratch after an announcement.
“This is upon us. It is happening right now,” McGraw said.
At points, his language conveyed a striking sense of personal urgency.
McGraw described Dr John Whyte, chief executive and executive vice president of the American Medical Association, as a dear friend.
He then said he felt personally compelled to have a heart-to-heart conversation with Whyte about how the organisation’s existing infrastructure could help prepare for the consequences of disclosure.
McGraw does not appear to be treating the subject as entertainment. He appears to believe that something could happen - and that preparations should begin now.
Yet, at the time of writing on Sunday 2 August, his podcast episode had received just 69,317 views on YouTube.
That limited reach reflects a striking disconnect: while potentially historic machinery is being assembled in Washington, much of the public remains unaware of it.
Taken together, the developments are difficult to dismiss:
Since May 2026, the U.S. government has released four tranches of UAP records under a directive issued by President Trump
A presidential speech has allegedly been prepared
A senior White House official is reportedly directing the administration’s work
An interagency Governance Board has been established
Several groups of outside experts are advising it, although the identities and work of most remain concealed
A presidential task force is collecting government records and considering them for declassification
Government personnel are being released from nondisclosure agreements so they can report what they know - even where those agreements previously prevented information from reaching the President
And a personal friend of Donald Trump says he is discussing disclosure with the administration while considering how America’s medical and psychological institutions might be mobilised.
Whether this becomes a historic turning point or eventually fades into a White House memoir remains unknown.
Either way, current events deserve far greater scrutiny from the public and the press.

Why Are There NDAs Prohibiting UAP Disclosure To President Trump?

On July 31, 2026, Aaron Lukas, Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence, wrote a memo (available here) in which he stated that information related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) which is known to former or current U.S. Government employees, must be disclosed to the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) Task Force and the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in the Pentagon . The most remarkable part of Aaron’s memo waives all non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), agreements, oaths or commitments so that: “any previous or existing NDAs prohibiting disclosure to the President, are no longer in force and that anyone with knowledge of UAP information should report all such information to AARO, or to an authorized PURSUE representative.”
Why would there be NDAs that prohibit UAP disclosure to President Trump and what might they entail?
In the normal chain of executive authority, the President sits at the top of the classification system itself. Executive Order 12356 and its successors establish that classification authority ultimately derives from and is exercised on behalf of the U.S. President.
An NDA that specifically bars disclosure to the President is unlawful, because ordinarily any classified program, however compartmented, is understood to be accessible to the Commander-in-Chief upon request.
This is the premise of civilian control over classified national security programs. If the memo’s language is accurate, and such NDAs genuinely existed with the effect of blocking presidential access, that constitutes a real anomaly worth taking seriously as a question, independent of what it implies about the underlying UAP information.
Several bureaucratic mechanisms could produce this outcome without the intention to bar a sitting president specifically. They include:
(i) Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Unacknowledged Special Access Programs (USAPs) within the military and intelligence apparatus, with narrow “need to know” gating which are built around bespoke, program-specific access lists or office-based access.
A president who has not been individually briefed into a given SAP is not automatically read in. This is framed as: “the UAP program’s access list was drawn up by prior administrations’ program managers and was never updated,” which functionally has the effect of a standing bureaucratic structure that outlives any single president’s term and does not proactively loop in a new president unless someone specifically initiates a briefing.
(ii) Contractor/corporate NDAs concerning UAP materials or knowledge which are held by a private contractor under a corporate non-disclosure agreement (rather than a government security-classification agreement).
Here the legal force comes from contract law and trade-secret protection, not from the classification system, and the President has no default legal standing to compel a private company’s disclosure the way he does within the executive branch’s own classification structure.
A corporation’s UAP material transfer negotiation sits in a genuinely different legal category that a memo like this may not fully reach.

(iii) Career officials overseeing sensitive programs have strong incentives to interpret ambiguous access rules conservatively.
The excuse: “no one told me to brief the new administration” is a much more mundane failure mode than “there is a standing legal instrument designed to block the president from seeing it.”
Congressionally-mandated compartmentation with statutory “no further dissemination” language may also apply to certain highly restricted programs, such as nuclear weapons design and targeting space which have used legislatively-created barriers that limit dissemination even within the executive branch, in order to prevent any single administration from unilaterally exposing sensitive design information regardless of political pressure. If a UAP-related program were ever structured this way by a prior Congress or a prior administration working with Congress, it would genuinely need an act of Congress or a specific legal mechanism to unwind and the new memo waiving “NDAs, agreements, oaths, or commitments” might not actually reach it.
The UAP information that past NDAs that exclude President Trump might actually be protecting is unknown.
Exotic possibilities include non-human-made technology and materials for which the secrecy surrounds the possession, engineering, or isotopic analysis of physical materials or craft that display flight characteristics defying human-made technologies.
Alternatively, they may reflect advanced human-made military capabilities with highly classified, cutting-edge U.S. sensor systems, radar signatures, and satellite tracking capabilities that have successfully detected or intercepted these anomalies.
Revealing how a UAP was tracked would simultaneously expose the limitations and strengths of U.S. surveillance to foreign adversaries. Finally, such information may relate to foreign adversary exploitation, including intelligence regarding adversarial nations like China or Russia, who may be attempting to reverse-engineer similar unknown technologies, transforming the UAP issue into a direct, high-stakes arms race.
Separately from these technological possibilities, the exclusive NDAs might cover decades of undocumented military encounters, retrieval operations, and the financial tracking of “black budget” funding diverted from public and congressional scrutiny to sustain these hidden projects. Aaron Lukas’s memo explicitly strips away these layers of legal insulation. By declaring that these NDAs “are no longer in force” regarding disclosures to the President, the administration is overriding decades of compartmentalized bureaucratic gatekeeping to consolidate executive authority over UAP data via the PURSUE Task Force.
The question “why would some NDAs bar disclosure to the President?” suggests that something concrete enough to warrant this level of structural protection exists, whether that turns out to be genuinely exotic or something far more conventional but still highly sensitive.

Hundreds Of Mysterious Blue 'Alien Jellyfish' Wash Up on UK Beaches Amid Heatwave

Marine experts believe the recent spell of unusually warm weather may also have contributed to this year's sightings and say more strandings could occur over the summer.
Beachgoers across parts of the UK have been greeted by an unusual sight this summer. Hundreds of bright electric blue marine creatures washed up along the shoreline after strong westerly winds and warm weather carried them ashore.
Large numbers of the creatures, identified as Velella velella, or by-the-wind sailors, have recently appeared on St Bees beach in Cumbria, BBC reported.
Similar sightings were also reported earlier this summer along the Welsh coast, marking one of the largest strandings of the species in more than a decade.
Visitors at St Bees described the spectacle as both surprising and beautiful, with many stopping to photograph the vivid blue organisms scattered across the sand.
Speaking to the BBC, Louise Nicholson said, "There were hundreds of them, and there were lots of visitors to the area taking photos. They are absolutely beautiful, only about 2 inches in size. It was a great find on a beautiful day."

Despite their jellyfish-like appearance, Velella velella are not true jellyfish. They are colonial hydroids - colonies of tiny organisms that work together as a single animal.
Measuring around two inches (five centimetres) long, each has a small translucent sail that catches the wind, allowing it to drift across the surface of the ocean while its tentacles trail below to feed on plankton.
The species is commonly found in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. Strong westerly winds, often following storms, can push vast numbers of them onto beaches.

Although Velella velella are closely related to the Portuguese man o' war, their sting is far less potent. Experts say they can still cause mild irritation, particularly if someone touches their face, lips or eyes after handling them.
As a precaution, beachgoers are advised to admire the creatures from a distance and avoid touching them.
Cumbria Wildlife Trust said, "Despite appearances, this weird and wonderful creature is not a jellyfish! They're sometimes found washed up on our shores after westerly winds. "Look, but don't touch – they give a very nasty sting."
The sightings come as the UK continues to experience above-average temperatures. The Met Office has forecast highs of up to 35°C in parts of southeast England, while the UK Health Security Agency has issued amber heat-health alerts for several regions, warning of the potential health impacts of the prolonged hot weather.
