So riddle me this. A few weeks ago we were told that Canada was being incinerated. Now we are told most of Europe is being turned to cinders.
Meanwhile check out south central Africa. Yet not a peep.

Possibly except slash and burn is also used in South America, yet it isn't showing nearly the activity. Both are now in winter.

Interesting how there is a spark that starts in Northern South America every year, then squirts up through Central America before petering out in North America. Also travels south. A similar wave starts in Africa every year just to the south of the Sahara and moves south. Asia seems to start India/Indonesia ans sweep north. Europe is Spain->north. I am assuming the dead spots are lack of data not actual no fires.
