This kind of rhetoric is primarily designed to sew fear in older Americans, who remember the Cold War. His warnings of the approach of “communism” is not accurate, or in any way reflective of the truth, something President Trump knows very well, as he is unconcerned about accuracy or truth.
The fact is, there is no “communist party“ in America, at least not a real one. Most thinking people realize he’s afraid of the movement started by Mayor Zoran Mamdani, and is trying to rebrand it into a word that scares people.
About the only thing it will succeed at doing is making a bigger divide in America, and fracture us as a nation even more.
