🚨 FAA INVESTIGATING MARINE ONE NEAR-MISS WITH PASSENGER JET
The FAA and NTSB are investigating a safety incident involving Marine One.
On Tuesday the presidential helicopter came too close to an American Airlines passenger jet while heading from the White House to Joint Base Andrews. Officials say the two aircraft lost required separation before moving apart.
President Trump was not on board and was never in danger.
The probe is looking at why commercial traffic was not held as Marine One departed. Stricter distance rules were put in place after last year’s deadly Black Hawk-American Airlines collision.A serious close call that investigators will now dissect.
