One either never had credibility

Or lost it by telling the truth

Or lost it by allowing time for the government to tell the truth, should it deign to find the truth convenient to itself

The ancient civilizations reached sustainability through the inertia of a healthy and educated populace aimed in a well understood common peace, the opposite we see is difficult to turn around. Anyone who advocates for a return to adhering to a simple set of rules based on logic and observable reality, that takes into consideration the nature of man, is considered radical and impractical. Much more practical, they say, is to follow the likes of Fauci and his apologists, and to heed the advice of Wall Street in it's infinite wisdom, and to give power of the purse and the reigns of war to those very few who have brought on the decline.
