Israel rejects 15-point plan to disarm Hamas, withdraw Israeli troops

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel rejects a U.S.-backed 15-point plan to disarm Gaza.

Last month, President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace created the plan for the gradual disarmament of Gaza and withdrawal of Israeli troops from the territory.

But in a cabinet meeting Sunday, a readout from Netanyahu’s office from a meeting of government ministers said, “I want to be clear here — Israel is ruling out the 15-point plan.”

He said he has told the Trump administration about his concerns.

The Israeli military “will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed and will continue to thwart threats against our forces and our citizens,” Netanyahu said.

“We are now discussing this with the Americans,” he said. “They have ideas, some of which are acceptable to us and some are not, and we know how to stand up to those things.”

He reiterated his opposition to a two-state solution.

“As long as I am prime minister, no Palestinian state will be established — not in Gaza and not in the West Bank,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu and his coalition are facing a difficult re-election vote in late October.

“Contrary to all those who preach to us, we do what must be done for Israel’s security and we can and will stand our ground even against our best friends when necessary,” Netanyahu added.

Hamas has said that handing over its heavy weapons was contingent on Israel ending “all forms of aggression” and withdrawing from Gaza.

“We expect the mediators and the American guarantor to pressure Netanyahu and his government to adhere to the roadmap and not obstruct the process for internal political and electoral reasons,” Bassem Naim, a member of Hamas’ politburo, said on X Sunday.

Since the cease-fire last October, Israel has continued to strike Gaza.

Israel’s military occupies more than half of Gaza, and Netanyahu’s far-right allies have implied that they want to expand the control. They lauded Netanyahu’s comments.

“The [Israeli military] cannot retreat one millimeter in the Gaza Strip,” Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said.

US Creates New African Psyops Unit

The notorious US Army 7th Psychological Operations Battalion is once again taking aim at the African continent in an attempt to destabilize nations and undermine sovereignty in the name of American global dominance.

Independent journalist David Hundeyin has exposed the Pentagon’s new psychological operations unit targeting Africa, “Drongo Company”. Tasked with “expanding the military’s ability to influence foreign audiences” across the continent, its heavily hyped launch occurs against a backdrop of dramatically and irreversibly waning Western influence and power in every sphere across the continent. As Africans steadily rid themselves of unwelcome foreign occupiers and oppressors, the US is forced to rely on strategies of manipulation to stem the tide, which have already failed spectacularly. They will surely misfire yet again.

Based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina - home to AFRICOM - Drongo Company’s nickname is inspired by a bird native to Africa, known for precisely imitating other species’ warning calls, and using other deception tactics to drive other animals away from food. The Pentagon reportedly “selected the name to reflect the unit’s focus on influencing perceptions and behavior.” Fittingly, a May 2014 Science paper found the drongo can mimic other species’ sounds and manipulate adversaries with unparalleled, almost human sophistication.

Task & Purpose notes Drongo Company’s creation “comes amid a shift in US military strategy in Africa,” which is quite an understatement. Washington is on the run across the continent, with combat units and occupation forces being withdrawn from multiple countries over recent years. In September 2024, over 1,000 soldiers departed Niger, while a $100 million drone base was abandoned. An anti-ISIS mission in Nigeria controversially launched this March was abruptly terminated in July, due to a cataclysmic inability to achieve its objectives.

Drongo Company is an attempt by the Empire to reassert narrative dominance over Africa, as its military capabilities across the continent and beyond constantly shrink in size and potency. An official US Army report openly states, “the art of psyops relies on persuasion rather than physical force.” This entails the exploitation of “mental factors…to evoke specific emotions, attitudes and behaviors.” The ultimate goal “is to persuade enemy, neutral and friendly nations and forces to take favorable actions toward the US and its allies.”

An AFRICOM factsheet on psyops claims local campaigns are targeted at militant groups, such as Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and ISIS. Parenthetical mention is also made to “malign state actors” being targets, in the context of advancing “US interests.” As a Military.com report acknowledges, this is a reference to “competition with foreign governments.” Specifically, “Russia and China have expanded their political, economic and security activities across Africa” in recent years, which the Empire has been singularly unable to counter via military force.

Drongo Company is thus being deployed for “an information contest that extends beyond conventional battlefields.” The Pentagon is extremely sensitive, however, to “skeptical audiences” seeing through their psyops. Military.com further notes while AFRICOM claims its psychological operations adhere strictly to US law and Pentagon policies prohibiting targeting US citizens, these prohibitions only apply to intended audiences. There are no mechanisms in place preventing Stateside spectators being deluged - theoretically illegally - with Drongo Company’s sophisticated, clandestine military psychological warfare offensives, especially online.

Police Arrest Local People for Protesting Illegal Immigrants Being House Among Them.

The British government’s unannounced placement of migrants in Thetford, England, sparked protests, resulting in a police response and arrests.

The protests spanned several nights and resulted in property damage, clashes with police, and the arrest of five people. The charges included public order offenses and suspicion of racial hatred. The protests began on Tuesday after it was revealed that a property on a family estate near a primary school had been converted into a house of multiple occupancy (HMO) for illegal migrants. An HMO is a house occupied by at least three people who are not from the same family or household but share basic facilities. This coincided with news that the British government intended to use a nearby military base to house 3,750 migrants. In response to the protests, the police escorted five hooded males out of the property. The police’s response was criticized as heavy-handed while police officials rejected the characterization, stating their response was necessary to maintain order. “There were some skirmishes, it was a spirited protest but I didn’t see any violence… We fully support their right to protest. I’d encourage people to protest peacefully and most of what I saw yesterday was peaceful,” said local Reform UK councillor Scott Hussey.

“I don’t know what people in the government actually expect. If you put these illegal immigrants into houses in the middle of housing estates, close to schools, next door to people, into communities who have absolutely no say in it, then I think it’s a pretty reasonable expectation that the people there will not be happy about it and will want to make a fuss. The fact is we’re getting about a thousand-a-week of these people coming in on small boats and we’re running out of places to put them.” – Colin Sutton, Norfolk Police and Crime Commissioner.

The recent unrest highlights growing public frustrations over the British government’s migrant placement policies. This is just one of several protests of its kind to take place across the country. The fact that the migrants had to be escorted out of the building underscores the scale of public anger. The revelation that the decision was unannounced suggests that the government is aware that its placement policies are unpopular but cannot or will not change them. This further shows the extent of immigration the country has received in recent years.

India-Israel ties will bloom amid Middle East's new Mecca Pact - analysis

Ties with Greece and Cyprus are also likely to benefit from the agreement, with Athens and Nicosia as concerned about an expanded Turkish footprint in the eastern Mediterranean as Jerusalem is.

Last Thursday, in what at the time seemed out of the blue, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on X/Twitter that he had received a phone call from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and that they “exchanged views on the current situation in West Asia.”

He also wrote, “We reviewed progress on various aspects of the India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership which continues to grow from strength to strength.”

Modi posted the message in English and Hebrew, and Netanyahu reposted it.

Only the next day would the full context become clear. On Friday, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey signed a sweeping mutual defense treaty, dubbed the Mecca Pact because of the city where it was finalized.

It is difficult to imagine that the looming pact was not a major focus of the Netanyahu-Modi conversation. While the public only saw the treaty signed on Friday, Jerusalem and New Delhi would almost certainly have been aware that a significant regional realignment was in the works.

When the leaders exchanged views “on recent developments in West Asia,” they were addressing one of the largest structural shifts in the region’s security architecture in years.

For years, Washington pushed a vision of a US-led regional security architecture integrating Israel with Saudi Arabia and other pragmatic Arab states. But that’s not what transpired in Mecca, and Modi and Netanyahu were surely discussing the ramifications of a very different tripartite alignment.

One major ramification Modi alluded to was the “progress on various aspects of the India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership.”

The announcement in Mecca will certainly add fuel to moving that partnership forward at full speed. That’s the way the world works: actions cause reactions, which in turn spark new arrangements.

Pakistan: Mecca Pact contains NATO-style Article 5 clause

On Friday, after the signing of this accord – which the Pakistani Foreign Ministry confirmed contains a NATO-style Article 5 clause meaning an attack on one is an attack on all – The Wall Street Journal summarized the moment perfectly: “When a superpower flails about, regional powers begin to make arrangements for themselves.”

The superpower here is the US, and the flailing is its execution of the war in Iran. Saudi Arabia, having lost confidence in the American security umbrella alone to provide the protection it feels it needs, is looking elsewhere.

That’s a rational calculation, considering the pounding the Gulf states have taken from Iran and its proxies despite – and perhaps, at times, because of – the presence of US bases on their soil, paired with Washington’s waffling over how to respond.

What is deeply disappointing from Israel’s perspective is where Riyadh looked for its new partners. By joining up with Turkey and Pakistan, Saudi Arabia chose an architecture that fundamentally complicates Jerusalem’s long-term regional strategy.

Saudi-Pakistani defense ties predate new defense pact

Pakistan is not a new security partner for the Saudis. The two countries have had close defense ties for decades, and signed another security pact last year. But those arrangements did little to shield Riyadh when it came under attack from either Iran or the Houthis.

Netanyahu, Katz said to quietly okay reconstruction in IDF-controlled part of Gaza

Army Radio says premier approved rebuilding effort two weeks ago without telling public, despite Hamas remaining armed; PM’s office says it’s a UAE-backed temporary housing project

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have quietly given the go-ahead for rehabilitation work to begin in southern Gaza, despite vowing that reconstruction of the badly damaged Strip would only take place once the Hamas terror group was disarmed, Army Radio reported Sunday.

The reconstruction work, which involves building infrastructure for the establishment of residential housing, is taking place in an area of eastern Rafah under Israel Defense Forces control, but near the Yellow Line that forms the frontier with Hamas.

According to the report, Netanyahu and Katz gave the green light two weeks ago, albeit without announcing the move, as the International Stabilization Force set to take control of parts of Gaza readied to deploy.

The report said that Gaza contractors and laborers will carry out the work after undergoing security checks.

In response, the Prime Minister’s Office said the work began months ago, as part of an Emirati-backed project for temporary housing “free of Hamas rule.”

“As of now, the area has been cleared of terror infrastructure and tunnels,” Netanyahu’s office told Army Radio.

The PMO also said electric, sewer and water infrastructure work will not be performed by Gazans, and will be under IDF supervision.

In January, Netanyahu insisted that reconstruction in Gaza would be allowed only if Hamas first gave up its weapons, something it has refused to do thus far, though a recent US-proffered agreement, rejected by Israel, appeared to pave the way toward disarming the group.

“I am already hearing the statements that we will allow Gaza’s reconstruction before demilitarization,” he said at the time. “That will not happen.”

Responding to the report, Transportation Minister Miri Regev told the station that rebuilding work can begin in any area of Gaza not under Hamas control.

How the Epstein Network Is Privatizing the Government & Building Out the Surveillance State

Under the radar, the billionaire class is building the infrastructure and models necessary to create a dystopian future in which cities become billionaire fiefdoms – completely privatized, governed by dictatorial CEOs and financed by subservient taxpayers. The buildout of data centers is one essential part of the effort to construct a totalitarian capitalist society, which is already advancing.

Jeffrey Epstein Truth Commission Named a Democrat Governor in New Mexico Sex Trafficking Report

The FBI received a tip that two girls were buried at Jeffrey Epstein's New Mexico ranch – and sat on it for six years.

This week, New Mexico lawmakers released the first official government account of what happened at that ranch.

What they found in those files – and who they named – is why the DOJ just got sued.

Jeffrey Epstein Ran Zorro Ranch for 26 Years Without a Single Law Enforcement Search

New Mexico lawmakers formed a bipartisan Survivors' Truth Commission earlier this year to investigate what Jeffrey Epstein did at his Zorro Ranch outside of Santa Fe – and what law enforcement failed to do about it.

The interim report released August 5 – 119 pages long – is the first time any government has ever documented what Epstein did at Zorro Ranch.

Federal agents never set foot on the 7,600-acre property while Epstein was alive.

The FBI never opened a criminal investigation focused on sex trafficking at the ranch.

New Mexico launched its own probe in early 2019 – then federal prosecutors led by James Comey’s daughter in New York asked the state to stand down, took the evidence, and that was the end of it.

A convicted sex offender ran a $7 million-a-year operation with 50 employees under strict nondisclosure agreements for over two decades – and American law enforcement never looked.

The commission confirmed sexual abuse of at least five women and girls at Zorro Ranch between 1996 and 2012, identifying them as Jane Does 1 through 5.

One victim was groomed at the ranch beginning in 1996 with an "unsolicited topless massage."

Another was flown to the property at 15 years old in 2004 and "sexually molested for many hours."

Jane Doe 4 claims she was coerced at the ranch to have sex with Epstein and his associates – and names Bill Richardson, the Democrat governor who died in 2023, as one of those associates.

Richardson denied any wrongdoing before his death.

The commission believes at least 30 additional individuals were abused at the property – but cannot confirm their identities until the DOJ releases the unredacted files.

Israeli bulldozers uproot West Bank olive trees ahead of harvest season

Palestinian farmers say groves cultivated for generations have been destroyed as restrictions and attacks intensify across the occupied West Bank

Israeli bulldozers destroyed scores of olive trees in Palestinian villages near Jenin on Wednesday, as part of an ongoing campaign of uprooting olive groves across the occupied West Bank.

The latest operation targeted farmland in the villages of Ajjah and Zububa, near the separation barrier, weeks before Palestinian farmers were due to begin this year's olive harvest.

Zaki Jaradat, head of Zububa Village Council, said Israeli forces have uprooted more than 2,950 olive trees across more than 300 dunams of agricultural land since the start of the year.

Among those affected is Fuad Yahya Maqalda, whose family has cultivated olive trees on the land for generations.

From the rooftop of his home overlooking the family's land, Maqalda watched Israeli bulldozers move through the olive groves, uprooting trees that had stood for generations.

Israel Is Planning To Attack Iran On Its Own To Provoke War

Israel is preparing its armed forces for the possibility of attacking Iran unilaterally, Israel’s Channel 13 reported on August 8.

According to the news channel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are working on strategies to strike the Islamic Republic without support from the United States, following recent reports about Washington allegedly exploring a diplomatic exit from the military conflict.

Earlier in the day, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Admiral Brad Cooper arrived in Israel, where he will discuss several topics with senior Israeli military officials, including the war in Iran and the Gaza Strip.

CNN reported overnight that Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, is looking for an “off-ramp” from the war with Iran.

In addition, a U.S. official had reported progress between Iran and Oman a day earlier that could soon reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Although Israel retains the ability to attack Iran without support from the U.S., the scope of damage it could inflict is extremely limited.

The IDF does not have the means to attack Iran’s last alleged nuclear site, Pickaxe Mountain, which is buried deep underground. It even lacks the ability to mount effective strikes against the Islamic Republic’s missile tunnels. All other known above-surface targets, like missile and drone manufacturing facilities, were hit at the height of the war earlier this year.

Still, Israel can carry out targeted killings or even attack civilian infrastructure in Iran. In any case, the Islamic Republic is guaranteed to respond.

The main purpose of any sole Israeli attack would likely not be a direct military one, but rather to drag the U.S. back into the war and sabotage the deal in the making.

In the case of an attack by the IDF against civilian infrastructure in particular, the Iranian response would likely not be limited to Israel. The Islamic Republic has already warned that it will hit back against similar facilities across the region. Thus, Israel may also be aiming to drag Gulf states back into the war.

While U.S. President Donald Trump has shown an ability to restrain Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the latter has acted on his own in the past. The clearest example of this is the 12-day war last year, which eventually saw the U.S. join in and target Iranian nuclear sites.

All in all, the latest report shows that Israel is deeply displeased with recent progress in talks to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and remains in favor of an all-out war.

Of course, this is not surprising, considering that Israel has succeeded to a large extent in putting the heaviest burden of the war on the U.S. and Gulf states.

Mark Levin throws a fit over Americans not wanting to fight Israel's wars, insisting that the "Greatest Generation" would be eager to fight Iran and wouldn't be complaining about higher prices.

"I remember a time when America would say, 'Let's go! Let's destroy that country!'"

He wonders if a draft would "work" today and insists that "the vast majority of us are utterly unaffected" by "what's going on in Iran."
