Intelligence Watchdog Warns of FBI Referral Over Alleged Disclosure of UAP Whistleblower Testimony

The Office of the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) has provided a statement to Liberation Times in response to allegations that details of testimony given by an Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) whistleblower were disclosed to a journalist.
Investigative journalist Jeremy Corbell has alleged that an ODNI source disclosed details of testimony provided by Dylan Borland, a UAP whistleblower who has made protected disclosures to the IC OIG and Congress.
According to Corbell, the information included claims concerning an alleged UAP program codenamed ‘Rubik’s Cube’.
Speaking to Liberation Times, Borland corroborated the allegation that classified whistleblower testimony was intentionally disclosed to Corbell.
Borland is a former U.S. Air Force geospatial intelligence specialist who later worked as a senior analyst for defence contractors BAE Systems and Intrepid Solutions, examining video, radar and advanced electro-optical imagery.
In sworn testimony before Congress in September 2025, he identified himself as a federal whistleblower who had provided information to both the Intelligence Community Office of the Inspector General (IC OIG) and the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) concerning alleged craft, technologies and legacy UAP programs operating without congressional oversight.
A spokesperson for the Office of the Intelligence Community Inspector General responded to the allegation with a carefully worded statement.
While declining to confirm whether Borland had provided testimony or whether any investigation was underway, the office emphasised that it is legally required to protect confidential whistleblowers and information that could reveal their identities.
The spokesperson also warned that any unauthorised disclosure of protected information could result in removal from federal service and referral to the FBI or another investigative authority:
‘We are aware of a recent public claim by a journalist concerning testimony allegedly provided to IC OIG. Subject to limited exceptions, IC OIG is required by law to protect from public disclosure the identity of confidential whistleblowers and certain information that could reasonably be expected to reveal their identities. IC OIG takes these obligations seriously.
‘Consistent with longstanding policy and practice, IC OIG can neither confirm nor deny the existence of any pending or ongoing investigation.
Any unauthorized disclosure of information protected by law, including information that identifies of could reasonably be expected to identify a confidential whistleblower, may constitute grounds for removal from Federal service and may also warrant referral to FBI or other appropriate investigative authorities.’
Corbell’s allegation concerning Borland forms part of a broader controversy surrounding ODNI’s Director’s Initiatives Group (DIG).
Corbell also alleges that the same unnamed ODNI official circulated damaging claims said to have emerged from another whistleblower’s private meeting with the group.
As Liberation Times previously reported, the group conducted its own inquiry into UAP-related allegations and met privately with whistleblower Matthew Brown at the Liberty Crossing Intelligence Campus in Virginia.
Brown said he had been approached by the individual leading the effort and invited to provide information about his experiences.
Brown denied those claims and believed they formed part of an attempt to discredit him. Borland was also named among the UAP whistleblowers allegedly subjected to intimidation or smear efforts connected to the inquiry.
Asked about that specific allegation, an ODNI spokesperson provided the following statement to Liberation Times:
‘ODNI has been and continues to be focused on carrying out the objectives of President Trump's executive orders and mandates, including assisting with any relevant information related to UAPs.’
The statement did not directly address whether information from Brown’s meeting had been disclosed or whether ODNI was examining the allegation.
ODNI also sought to distinguish the secure setting of the meeting from the legal protections attached to it.

It noted that information discussed inside a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) is not automatically classified, since unclassified matters may also be discussed there, and stressed that simply speaking inside a SCIF does not in itself confer whistleblower protections.
Separate from the alleged disclosures, questions have also arisen about the investigative approach adopted within the DIG, which was established under former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
Multiple sources who have spoken to Liberation Times claim that the investigation was compromised by elements linked to the CIA, allegedly to discourage Congress from pursuing further UAP hearings and legislation, while deterring additional whistleblowers from coming forward publicly.
James E. Erdman III, a senior CIA operations officer assigned to ODNI on a joint-duty posting, was among the earliest members of the DIG and led its work on UAP, anomalous health incidents and the origins of COVID-19.
Erdman subsequently alleged that the CIA obstructed the group’s work, monitored its communications and tracked its contacts with whistleblowers.
In testimony provided to the Senate in May this year, he described himself as a senior CIA operations officer and alleged that the agency had investigated DIG members and monitored their computer and telephone activity.
However, Erdman’s own recent public comments about UAP claims and the wider UFO community have raised questions about the assumptions informing the group’s inquiry.
Those concerns are particularly relevant because Erdman, as a CIA officer assigned to ODNI, led the examination of allegations that implicated his home agency in a secretive UAP retrieval and reverse-engineering effort.
Writing on X in response to comments by journalist Walter Kirn, Erdman stated:
‘I generally lean in on believing fighter pilots and submariners with everything to lose when they choose to risk vocalizing their experiences to their chain of command.
I just don’t think we can draw a straight line between all their stories and alien life just yet and they don't always jump to that conclusion either. They want answers just as much as the next guy.
‘There is also … a whole lot of grifting and lies infecting the UFO community. If anyone is up to the task of discerning between fact and fiction, I have no doubt @walterkirn is the guy.
Nothing has been black and white on this issue. Videos released without explanation, often released during unfavorable news cycles, and trumpeted by the same set of inter-connected alien-chasers should not be propagated as evidence.

Erdman appeared willing to credit military witnesses describing incidents outside the secrecy of alleged UAP Special Access Programs and Controlled Access Programs.
By contrast, he characterised claims involving non-human biologics, recovered craft and reverse-engineering efforts - allegedly concealed within those compartments - as lies, mistakes or grifts unless direct evidence was produced.
That position raises questions about the approach taken during the UAP investigations Erdman led within the DIG and the treatment of whistleblowers.
Requiring publicly available proof from programs alleged to have been deliberately hidden behind the highest levels of classification risks prejudging the very claims the group was tasked with examining.
The concern is heightened by accounts from whistleblowers who interacted with the DIG. They claim that, rather than receiving an impartial hearing, they faced suspicion, intimidation and attempts to undermine their credibility.
Erdman’s remarks do not establish that he personally participated in such conduct. However, their adversarial framing raises questions about whether allegations concerning covert UAP programs were investigated with sufficient independence and an open mind.
Concerns about the DIG’s work form part of wider allegations concerning resistance to UAP disclosure within ODNI.
Three sources have told Liberation Times that figures within ODNI linked to the CIA are resisting efforts by the Trump administration to release more substantial information concerning UAP.
Those sources identified Aaron Lukas, the Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence, as one of the officials allegedly providing such resistance.
Lukas previously spent more than two decades within the Intelligence Community and served as a CIA Chief of Station.
According to his official ODNI biography, he managed sensitive clandestine programs, conducted covert operations and maintained liaison relationships around the world.
Liberation Times has not independently substantiated the allegations concerning Lukas.

Watch: Vanishing UFO Astonishes Witnesses in Colombia

A perplexing piece of footage from Colombia shows an odd orb that hovered in the sky before suddenly disappearing to the astonishment of witnesses watching the weird UFO.
The strange sighting reportedly occurred late last month in the city of Medellín. In the video (featured below), a white circular object seemingly hangs in the sky for several seconds and then simply vanishes without a trace.
When the UFO abruptly disappears before their eyes, one of the witnesses marvels, "I can't believe what we just recorded!"
After the video was posted on social media, debate about the nature of the odd object understandably ensued.
Some observers suggested that the orb was an alien craft that, upon being spotted in the sky, activated cloaking technology to prevent it from being seen or filmed any further.
More skeptical viewers, on the other hand, posited that the UFO was probably just a balloon that seemed to disappear because it popped.

A charismatic televangelist who created a career out of her past as a career criminal and drug dealer now has a startling new revelation: aliens harvested her eggs.
Katie Souza, whose show “Healing Your Soul” airs on Trinity Broadcasting Network and Faith Broadcasting Network, told her YouTube channel Friday she was a child victim of an extraterrestrial conspiracy to create alien-human hybrids.
“I was visited when I was a young girl and aliens — alien beings — implanted an interdimensional device in me that harvested my eggs over my lifetime,” said Souza, 63.
“This device obviously was harvesting them right when they would mature so that they could then … try to create a hybrid child.”
Souza, who founded a popular prison ministry in 2006 after her own release from prison, said thousands of other women have had this happen to them too, though many remain unaware.
She said alien implantation is a cause of infertility, as well as other mysterious illnesses and unexplainable anger.
Souza has a book coming out Tuesday, warning Christians of what she calls the “alien agenda” of genetic corruption.
“Star Gods” is being published by Charisma Media, a Christian company with a successful track record of bestselling books about End Times prophecy, spiritual warfare and demonic oppression.
Charisma Media’s flagship magazine featured Souza smiling on the cover of its July issue, with a headline announcing “The Coming Alien Invasion.”
An unsigned editorial in the issue included a note of caution.
The magazine did not endorse any extraterrestrial conspiracy theories but urged Christians to pay close attention to the news, especially as government officials discuss possible disclosures about “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon,” or UAP.
“Scripture does not call us to accept every claim uncritically, nor does it encourage us to ignore developments taking place around us,” the magazine said.
“The central question is not merely whether unusual phenomena exist, but how those phenomena should be interpreted.”
A spiritual interpretation
Souza offers a spiritual interpretation. She says extraterrestrials exist but are not physical creatures that evolved in another solar system. Instead, they are fallen angels warring against God’s plan of redemption.
And they are the reason, she said, that she has been unable to conceive children.
Souza connects her story and contemporary stories about flying saucers to the “sons of God” mentioned in Genesis 6. The Bible passage says they “went to the daughters of humans and had children by them,” called the Nephilim.
The passage is followed by God’s condemnation of “the wickedness of the human race” and a catastrophic flood, survived by Noah and his family in an ark.
A Jewish apocalyptic text, known as the Book of Enoch, adds that the Flood was necessary to drown the hybrid Nephilim.
Greek and Roman mythology also includes many stories about sex between deities and humans, Souza noted, often resulting in demigod offspring, such as Hercules and Helen of Troy.
“So, this has been happening throughout time,” she said. “This is nothing new. So, we shouldn’t be shocked when I say something like this is what’s happened to me.”
The charismatic minister is not the only one making the argument that aliens are a mask for a stranger, more supernatural conspiracy theory. Vice President J. D. Vance recently proposed the same idea on a podcast in March.
Promoting his new book about his conversion to Catholicism, Vance told right-wing political commentator Benny Johnson that he came into office “obsessed” with learning the truth about UFOs.
But he also said his faith led him to suspect that scientific and government observers have historically misidentified beings from other dimensions.
“I don’t think they’re aliens; I think they’re demons,” Vance said.
“When I hear about, sort of, extra-natural phenomenon — that’s where I go to is the Christian understanding that, you know, there’s a lotta good out there, but there’s also some evil out there.” Vance returned to the idea last month in a conversation with podcaster Joe Rogan.
“If we’re talking about an extraterrestrial being that is humanlike but not human, that contains effectively infinite powers and is torturing human beings, you can call it an alien if you want, but I think there’s a lot of historical precedent to call that a demon,” the vice president said.

Belief in aliens now mainstream
As Time magazine noted last week, “America Is Finally Taking Extraterrestrials Seriously.”
Nearly 80 years after U.S. military officials said they recovered a crashed “flying disc” outside Roswell, New Mexico — and then said it was just a weather balloon — belief in aliens has become mainstream.
According to a recent poll, 69% of Americans think UAPs are extraterrestrial spacecraft, and 84% think the government has information about aliens it should release.
The nonprofit Disclosure Foundation, which advocates the release of information about UAPs, called it the most popular single issue in the country, cutting across demographics and deep partisan divides.
President Donald Trump, noting that popular interest, directed all government agencies to review their files and release any information they had about alien life.
“The people can decide for themselves,” the president wrote on social media, “‘WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?’”
The Pentagon released the first batch of “UFO Files” in May. A fifth batch was released online on Friday.
It included numerous artistic renderings of shapes and lights and lights that people reported to government officials between 2002 and 2026.
New York Times columnist Ross Douthat said there are “serious questions” about aliens that government disclosures probably will not answer — or cannot answer, like whether there is a connection between extraterrestrials and the Nephilim.
Several charismatic pastors have recently claimed government officials privately fed them information about the pending disclosures, asking them to help prepare people for the possible spiritual consequences.
One, however, has subsequently clarified the information about aliens was his own opinion, not a government officials.
Claims recovered memory
Souza does not claim any access to government secrets, but something better: firsthand knowledge.
“When I was a child, I experienced visitations that I couldn’t explain,” she said on her YouTube channel Friday.
“For years, I didn’t remember them. Then, decades later, God began revealing what was really behind those encounters, and it changed my life.
That journey sent me deep into Scripture, ancient history, spiritual warfare and years of research.”
Souza has not talked about aliens before. Her ministry started in 2006, a few years after she completed a prison sentence for the manufacture of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute.
Katie Souza Ministries initially focused on prisoners, with Souza sharing a dramatic conversion testimony.
Souza then shifted into faith healing and deliverance, speaking more and more frequently, as time went on, about spiritual warfare and generational curses.
Her life story has also grown darker as time has gone on. In 2025, for example, she told Christian podcaster Dan Duval that her grandmother was sexually assaulted by a Nazi officer during World War II.
She said that she had to break a family curse connected to Adolf Hilter’s attempt to harness the power of a Satanic altar.
She added that another family member was a sex trafficker with the Illuminati, a group that some conspiracy theorists believe controls major world events.
“You can’t make this stuff up,” Souza said. “You wonder why you’re fighting stuff your whole life? Because people are controlled by demons and they come in when you’re a child and submit you to that kind of behavior, that demonic behavior.”
Souza has also made statements about believing in time travel, astral projection and werewolves. More recently, she has talked about a “spirit spouse” trying to take her from her husband, Robert Souza.
Evangelist JonMark Baker, host of the Minor Prophets podcast, said many regular charismatic leaders have failed to recognize Souza’s growing strangeness.

“This is the trap of some sensible charismatics,” Baker said. “They’re just pastoring a church somewhere and they’re like, ‘Who believes any of this stuff?’
It’s obviously weird and they don’t pay attention to any of it because it’s just like, ‘that’s weird.’”
Baker believes that is a serious mistake.
“Katie Souza is very influential,” he said. “There is no place for this type of heresy in a true Christian charismatic movement.
There’s no place for it. And so, we need to be vigilant about those who are spreading false teaching that’s spreading like gangrene.”
Souza’s first book, published three years after she was released from prison, was self-published.
Now her ministry brings in annual donations of more than $2 million, according to tax records, and her last three books have been published by Charisma.
She has 163,000 followers on Facebook and 234,000 on YouTube.
She is urging them all to buy “Star Gods” to learn how to stop what she calls the alien agenda to produce human-demon hybrids.
“We have to ask ourselves, you know, what’s up with the egg heist?” Souza said. “Satan actually could have children, okay? Spiritual children and children-in-the-natural-flesh children.”

A sensational new UFO conspiracy theory alleges that covert military operations in West Texas used 'psionic summoning' technology under presidential authorisation.
According to intelligence sources cited in recent investigative leaks, a secretive US government initiative allegedly operated around Sierra Blanca, Texas, after the private research group Skywatcher ceased public operations.
The covert project purportedly involved electromechanical signalling and neuro-meditative protocols designed to attract UAP sightings, mirroring methods previously tested by civilian researchers. None has been independently confirmed.
While federal authorities and the White House have not independently confirmed these allegations, the narrative has gained explosive traction across digital platforms due to its convergence with sudden Federal Aviation Administration airspace closures, high-level congressional inquiries, and longstanding speculation regarding classified government knowledge of non-human intelligence.
The Rise and Disappearance of Skywatcher's UAP Tests
The roots of the conspiracy trace back to the private research collective Skywatcher, co-founded by Jake Barber, James Fowler, and financier Alex Klokus, which conducted field operations in the remote desert southeast of El Paso.
Before going dark in late December 2025, the group claimed to record numerous anomalous objects using advanced electromechanical 'dog-whistles' and meditative focus.
Its last post on X came on Christmas Day last year, when the group reaffirmed its commitment to 'applying disciplined science, advanced sensing and rigorous analysis.'
Fowler had left in mid-August to pursue what he described as a new opportunity in aerial intelligence.
Skywatcher said it was testing UAP claims through electromechanical signalling, described as a 'dog-whistle,' and neuro-meditative interaction, which the report calls psionic summoning or inviting UAPs.
At a Sierra Blanca base southeast of El Paso, the group claimed its sensors and cameras had recorded nine classes of objects, including the Tetra, TicTac, blob, beam, manta ray, bright star, jellyfish, hornet and egg.
The reports, however, contain no official confirmation that NASA, the Department of Defence or the CIA adopted Skywatcher's methods, despite the report that insiders said the group had been working with or reporting to those agencies by its final July field operation.
If a private team reported unusual objects near sensitive facilities, a government response could range from routine airspace management to a classified investigation.
The evidence here does not establish which one occurred.

Texas Airspace Closures Add to the Donald Trump UFO Conspiracy
On 10 February 2026, the Federal Aviation Administration closed airspace over El Paso International Airport at 11.30pm.
The FAA initially said the shutdown would last 10 days. Administration officials later said it followed a sudden incursion by drones linked to Mexican drug cartels, while Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wrote, 'The threat has been neutralised.'
The report notes that cartel drones had crossed the US border before without regularly prompting airport-wide closures. The source said that Customs and Border Protection officials had used a Pentagon-shared anti-drone laser without coordinating with the FAA.
They believed they were targeting a cartel drone, but the object was identified as a party balloon. The restriction was lifted at about 7am, roughly seven hours after it began.
Republican Senator Ted Cruz sought a classified briefing, while Senator Jack Reed rejected the administration's explanation. The same report says Congress has not publicly disclosed what lawmakers learnt in those briefings.
A separate FAA notice issued on 8 November 2025 designated a large area southeast of El Paso as 'national defence airspace' until 7 November 2026.
Pilots were warned that intruders could be intercepted, detained and interviewed, and that deadly force could be used against an aircraft posing an imminent security threat. The restriction was cancelled six days later, on 14 November.
The timing matters because the restricted area covered the Sierra Blanca zone where Skywatcher had operated until July 2025. Sources said the restriction was initiated by a Joint Special Operations Command liaison to the FAA to 'shoot down drones.'
No public order supporting that allegation is included in the supplied material, and the reason for the brief restriction remains contested.
What Trump Allegedly Knows About UAP Operations
The most serious claims concern White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, nearly 200 miles northwest of Sierra Blanca.
Defence sources said that UAP sightings increased there while Skywatcher conducted its operations, including its final July test.
They further allege that government agencies used temporary flight restrictions to conduct detection and interception operations.
Sources also claimed the same signalling and neuro-meditative techniques were used, and that objects had been downed in the United States and near Juarez, Mexico.
White House sources allegedly told reports that Trump personally authorised the operation, with Pete Hegseth and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence involved.
Those are allegations, not facts. IBTimes UK cannot independently verify them.
According to reports, some officials fear Trump may be told the objects are foreign surveillance drones rather than something more unusual.
It also attributes to sources a description of objects with no visible propulsion, instantaneous manoeuvres, hypersonic speeds and stealth capabilities.
No recovered object, technical assessment or official statement confirming those characteristics is provided.
As federal agencies maintain their official silence, the intersection of classified military manoeuvres and civilian UAP research continues to fuel intense global debate.

Whistleblowers and other govt insiders cannot speak publicly about potential aliens (unidentified anomalous phenomena) because their jobs would be put at risk. This could all be changed by President Trump.
With an executive order he could provide immunity and allow these insiders to come forward and speak.
We deserve to know the truth about whether the US govt has proof of life from other planets. Are we alone? President Trump can answer that question with his executive authority.
