Most Poles want unemployed Ukrainian men deported – poll 1/2

Kiev’s veneration of genocidal Nazi collaborators has poisoned relations with Warsaw, while popular exhaustion with Ukrainians is rising

Most Poles would back the deportation of unemployed military-age Ukrainian men, a recent survey by the Warsaw-based IBRiS Institute for Market and Social Research has indicated.

Public perception of Ukrainians in Poland has deteriorated in recent months amid a diplomatic spat between the two countries linked to Kiev’s lionization of the perpetrators of WWII massacres of Poles.

Ukraine imposed general mobilization shortly after the escalation of the conflict with Russia in February of 2022, barring nearly all military-age men from leaving the country.Nevertheless, tens of thousands have crossed the border illegally and fled to the European Union.

As of late June,some 961,170 Ukrainians were residing in Poland under temporary protection, according to Eurostat.

Over amillion Ukrainians have also fled to Russia since 2022.Meanwhile, a different poll conducted late last month showed that 75.8% of Poles held a negative view of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.

Earlier in July, Rzeczpospolita, citing data from Poland’s National Police Headquarters, reportedthat there had been a 30% year-on-year rise in hate crime complaints from Ukrainians residing in the country.

Multiple videos depicting assaults on Ukrainians in Poland have been circulating online in recent months.

Relations between Warsaw and Kiev soured after Zelensky named one of the country’s commando units after the “heroes of the UPA” (Ukrainian Insurgent Army) in May. Poland holds the Ukrainian nationalist militia, which collaborated with Nazi Germany during World War II, responsible for the massacre of up to 100,000 Poles in what is now western Ukraine.

Despite a fierce backlash from the Polish public and officials, as well as the European Parliament’s condemnation of what it described as an “unnecessary and unprovoked escalation,” Kiev has stood by the decision.

Meanwhile, in mid-July, theEU announced that it would stop granting temporary protection to newly arriving Ukrainians liable for military service starting from March 2027.

Around the same time, German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt similarly told Die Welt that while “asylum is, of course, still possible [for Ukrainians] in principle… fleeing military service is not grounds for asylum.”

Ukrainian officials have, in turn, repeatedly urged EU member states to repatriate Ukrainian draft dodgers as Kiev has struggled to replenish its military amid mounting casualties.

Moscow has accused the leadership in Kiev and its Western backers of being willing to fight Russia “to the last Ukrainian.”

On Wednesday, Rzeczpospolita newspaper, citing the IBRiS survey,reported that 67% of respondents believe that Poland should deport Ukrainian men of military age who are not legally employed in the country. The poll was conducted last week after the right-wing Law and Justice (PiS) party put forward the proposal.

While the idea unsurprisingly proved popular among PiS supporters and those sympathetic toward the right-wing Confederation party, over 50% of voters backing the ruling coalition of pro-EU Prime MinisterDonald Tusk also said they would back the deportation of Ukrainian men, according to the survey.

Leftists Melt Down as ESPN’s Biggest Star Hangs Out With Trump to Promote High School Athletes

If you ever grow weary from combating leftism, close your eyes and imagine how miserable leftists must feel every day.

Then, though you still must resist their relentless assaults on everything true and good, your perspective will change. You will begin to see them, even in their unhinged rage, as objects of sympathy.

For instance, Tuesday and early Wednesday on the social media platform X,leftists’ heads exploded at the sight of ESPN star Pat McAfee sharing photos of himself with President Donald Trump at the 2026 Patriot Games. in Geneva, Ohio, which brought together high school athletesages 14-17 for “a national athletic competition celebrating the character, determination, and excellence that define the American spirit.”

In fact, from a miserable leftist’s perspective,McAfee did the unforgivable. He willingly appeared with Trump to promote an event the ESPN sports personality considered worth promoting.

Earlier in the day on Wednesday,McAfee greeted Trump on the tarmac in Cleveland following Air Force One’s arrival. A driving rainstorm did not seem to bother the host of “The Pat McAfee Show,”for he met the president while wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and a backwards ball cap.

Meanwhile, as seen in a clip posted to X, Trump gladly accepted an umbrella to stay dry.

Later, at the competition, McAfee sat next to Trump.The former punter for the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts even appeared to pump his fist briefly when someone yelled “We love you, Mr. President!”

“Had a BLAST celebrating high schoolers from across the country with the Heads of Disney, ABC, ESPN, and… The United States Of America. I’m proud of all parties getting behind this important initiative to keep future generations excited about remaining active. Cheers to the incredible contestants and to next year’s Patriot Games,” McAfee wrote on X.

Alas, the sight of McAfee and Trump-together celebrating athletic excellence and American patriotismtriggered social media’s always-triggerable leftists.

In fact, according to Yahoo, some social media users began calling the ESPN star “MAGAfee.”

For his part, McAfee took it in stride.

“Promoting American High Schoolers being active and competitive and potentially winning life changing scholarship money alongside my business partners at Disney/ABC/ESPN.. On that note… I wrote and sang an entire album.. The Diary Of A Polarizing Figure AVAILABLE THIS FRIDAY,” he joked.

Of course, miserable leftists already had it in for the ESPN host. After all, last week on McAfee’s show, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers delivered an epic rant against disgraced former bureaucrat and COVID-era tyrant Anthony Fauci.

In short, leftists remain dangerous, not least because of the demonic glee with which they celebrate the murder of innocents.

But they also remain trapped inside their own misery.

They cannot bear to ask themselves if the event McAfee and Trump promoted had merit in its own right. They can only see the event — and McAfee himself — filtered through their anti-Trump hatred, which transcends all.
