Today, #SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan met with Panamanian Minister of Public Security Frank Alexis Ábrego to discuss key initiatives of the Americas Counter Cartel Coalition aimed at defeating cartels and narco-terrorism. They also discussed #PANAMAX26, a multinational exercise hosted by Panama designed to strengthen partner nation capabilities to counter regional threats and safeguard the Panama Canal.

Panama is a key regional security leader and one of our most important partners.
