Bank of Jerusalem says an internal investigation found “no suspicion of embezzlement of Bank of Jerusalem clients’ funds” following rumors surrounding employee Mali Yahalomi and her daughter, who disappeared in Vienna.
The bank says customers’ accounts are secure and operations are normal.
“Clients’ funds are secure and protected, and are held and managed in accordance with the law.”
Police have issued a gag order as the search continues.
