The White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing released an extensive report this weekidentifying the major nations who enable China to transship goods into the U.S market in an effort to avoid tariffs. [REPORT HERE]

Within the reportseveral nations and regionsare identified as beingused by Chinese manufacturers to avoid U.S. customs and duty enforcementmechanisms.

However,both Canada and Mexicoare cited asprimary enablers of the process.

The issue strikes at the heart ofthe problem identified long ago with the NAFTA agreement, and the problem only worsens when the USMCA provisions on country of origin are not enforced.

When you remove oil and lumber,the majority of Canada’s manufactured exports to the USA contain Chinese component partsand this has been the source of muchfrictionin the current trade negotiations.

The manufacturing supply chain withinall free trade agreementsonly works when the source of component goods is accurately recorded.

The issue is seemingly irreconcilable, and the Canadian govt continue to gaslight the Canadian people on the core issues at the heart of the matter.

The story of Jason Arday is one of the strangest and yet embarrassingly sad representations of political correctness, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion running amok. [Recap of Absurd Stories Here]

After one of the most ridiculous and absurd life stories was seemingly accepted by the Cambridge University academic community, they raised Jason Arday to a professorship of sociology and education in 2023. Then slowly it surfaced that the guy was a professional plagiarist and was passing off the academic work of others as his own.

Everything unraveled as those outside the university system started looking at Arday’s scholarship and life claims. The absurdity of it all ended up with massive embarrassment for the university and those within it.

Arday resigned in disgrace; but prior to the discovery of his fictitious life story being sold as real, he signed a book deal which was scheduled to launch this week. I suspect the publisher did some serious hindsight research and discovered the material in the book was entirely made up. Something happened, and today Mr Arday was found dead.

Arday claimed that he once ran 600 miles between Edinburgh and London in six days for charity, an accomplishment which would put him in the upper tier of world ultra marathon runners. He also claimed that he ran run 30 marathons in 35 days. On the 21st marathon he suffered from an epileptic fit and fractured his leg after falling down. This did not deter him and he went on to finish the remaining nine marathons.” “To this day, I don’t really know how I did it,” he recalled.

Pass the pâté

Arday claimed in a 2024 speaking engagement that he raised over £5 million for charity from his marathons and that he had raised over £5.5 million in his life. This is an extraordinary sum – Arday has said elsewhere that the money went “most notably” to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and Shelter. One JustGiving page shows Arday raising only £380 for one of his 300 miles in three days challenges.

Full to the brim

Arday claimed that he went to both South America and West Africa to install water points. WaterAid said that they never send their volunteers abroad, “out of respect for the people we work with, we don’t encourage or facilitate self-funded visits either.”

First they came for the professors of sociology

Arday has made several claims about physical threats. He claimed that masked men threatened him twice if he failed to resign, the second time at knifepoint. The CCTV in his building did not catch these intruders. He told the Guardian that a severed pig’s head was sent to his family home, and that the police had chased this up, finding that a butchers in South Londonhad sold a whole pig the morning that the incident occurred. The police told the Guardian “categorically” that no such investigation had taken place, and the butcher which Arday said the pig had come from also said that they had no recollection of selling the pig.

Arday claimed in an interview at the University of Bath that he played academy-level football, and that he went on to play semi professionally. This claim has not been repeated in his to-be-published autobiography. He has not explained which club he was attached to.

That’s a bad miss

Arday was apparently something of a snooker shark. While at secondary school, he says that he would play in a local snooker hall, then afterwards came to win substantial sums in local competitions. He says in his memoir that he was making so much cash from his triumphs that his mother thought he could be a drug dealer. CueTracker, a comprehensive online database of professional snooker, shows him having participated in one amateur competition, winning no prize money.

A star is born

Arday claimed that he was in the BBC documentary Seven Up. Seven Up was a television series that followed the lives of ten boys and four girls in England. It began in 1964, more than 20 years before Arday was born in 1985. The BBC said that Arday had “nothing to do with our films.”

Baptism of fire

Arday claims that when he went to secondary school his teachers would strike his knuckles with a pen if he failed to complete his tasks. Corporal punishment was banned in England in 1987, around two years after Arday was born. Perhaps he skipped a few years due to his talent?

Act like you belong

Arday has claimed that he was a visiting professor for Nelson Mandela University in South Africa, the University of Glasgow and Ohio State University, all of which have denied that he held such a position. According to the Daily Mail, Arday has also wrongly claimed to have a position as honorary professor at Durham University.

Oxfordian theory

He claimed that he had published a book called “Being Young, Black and Male: Challenging the Dominant Discourse” with Palgrave Macmillan. This claim can be seen in his speaker biography for a Queen’s University Belfast live speaking event. Palgrave Macmillan say that they took a proposal from Arday from this book but did not publish it. Arday did not give the Telegraph a comment on this story.

Cambridge University has said that Arday has been the victim of a “vile campaign to undermine his credibility.”

President Trump on Friday traveled to Long Island, New York, to tout his administration’s success in bringing down crime.

The President also rallied support from Bruce Blakeman, the Republican running for governor of New York.

Trump received a thunderous applause and chants of “USA! USA!” from New York police officers.

At one point, President Trump stopped his remarks to go comfort the grieving parents of a 12-year-old boy who was fatally shot last month.

12-year-old Jacob Freytes was killed by a stray bullet in the Bronx, New York, on July 25.

He was riding his bike in the Mount Eden neighborhood last month when a fight broke out between a group of people on the sidewalk.

Former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, the official Joe Biden publicly threatened and forced out of office in 2016, claims in his book Biden’s Corruption and War: The True Story of the 1 Billion Dollar Prosecutor that hundreds of billions of American taxpayer dollars connected to Ukraine were recycled through political interests and “globalist networks.”

According to a Blaze Media column citingShokin’s first-person account, massive sums of U.S. aid intended for Ukraine were recycled through political and globalist networks.

He alleges $350 billion in American taxpayer money was diverted into these opaque channels amid the chaos of war. Arms deals were tainted by corruption.

Wartime disorder allegedly facilitated trafficking of Ukrainian women and children. The book paints the conflict itself as a vehicle for enrichment and influence far beyond the battlefield.

Shokin was the prosecutor general investigating Mykola Zlochevsky and Burisma Holdings, the same corrupt energy company that put Hunter Biden on its board and paid him an eye-watering salary for “expertise” he didn’t have.

Shokin says his office was moving against the company, seizing assets, and getting uncomfortably close to the Biden family connections. That’s when the pressure campaign from Washington intensified.

Joe Biden later famously boasted about it on video: he told Ukrainian officials they weren’t getting the billion dollars unless the prosecutor was gone. “Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.”

Biden called himself the “Vice King” in Ukraine circles for a reason. Shokin’s book details the meetings, the influence over then-President Petro Poroshenko, and the coordinated effort that ended his tenure.

The Kiev regime is fighting a NATO proxy war against Russia at the expense of its own people while its leadership pockets Western funding, US journalist and geopolitical analyst John Varoli has said.

Speaking to RT on Friday, Varoli saidUkraine’s Vladimir Zelensky and “his clique”have “absolutely no interest” in the Ukrainian people, adding that they neither represent, care for, nor serve them.

“The Ukrainian regime serves the interests of the NATO countries, which are fighting a proxy war against Russia,” Varoli said. “They are literally willing to fight until the last Ukrainian,” he added.

Varoli said Zelensky’s “masters” in Brussels, Washington, D.C., and Londonare telling Kiev to keep fighting Russia for as long as they remain in the conflict.

Kiev seeks to avoid receiving the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers because it would have to compensate their families,the journalist claimed, adding the regime has “huge amounts of money” and receives billions of dollars from NATO every month.

“But the question is, where is that money going?” Varoli said, adding: “It’s going into the pockets of Zelensky and his oligarchs. That money is being stolen.”

A powerful explosion has ripped through a weapons factory in Italy ownedby Franco-German defense group KNDS, a major arms supplier to the Ukrainian military.

No casualties were reported in the blast, which occurred near the town of Colleferro, about 45 km southeast of Rome, on Thursday.

Mayor Giulio Calamita told reporters that thecommunity of roughly 50,000 people, which has longstanding ties to the factory, narrowly avoided a tragedy because many employees were away for the summer holidays. Twenty-four workers were inside the building at the time of the explosion and all were reported safe, according to the RAI news agency.

Footage circulating online shows flames rising behind a group of buildings before a powerful blast sends burning debris into the air.

KNDS owns the facility through its national subsidiary, KNDS Ammo Italy. The plant manufactures medium- and large-caliber ammunition, including 155mm artillery shells that are reportedly supplied to Ukraine through European intermediaries. KNDS has close defense ties with the Ukrainian military and opened a subsidiary in Kiev in 2024.

Apreliminary investigation found no indications of foul play, Italian media reported, citing law enforcement sources.

Colleferro has previously seen deadly accidents linked to weapons production at the site, which over the years was owned by Bombrini-Parodi-Delfino (BPD), Snia Viscosa, and Simmel Difesa before being acquired in 2014 by Nexter Systems, now renamed KNDS France, according to media reports.

In 2007, an explosion on a munitions packaging line killed one worker and injured 13 others. The deadliest such incident occurred in 1938, when 60 people were killed and around 1,500 were injured.

Earlier this week, a fire also damaged a munitions factory in Bulgaria’s Gabrovo Province(hmmmm??). Authorities declared a seven-day partial state of emergency on Thursday because of the danger posed by shells scattered within a 500-meter radius by secondary explosions.

Israeli defense officials have been shocked by the rapid recovery of Iran’s military capabilities since the heavy bombardment by the US and Israel in the opening stages of the conflict, the Jerusalem Post has reported.

Earlier this week, a senior adviser to the chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said that Iran’s output of ballistic missiles and drones exceeds the rate at which they are being deployed. “Even if the war lasts for several years, our ballistic missiles will continue to rain down on the enemy,” Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Naqdi told Press TV.

In an article on Thursday, the Jerusalem Post said it has independently confirmed that statements by senior Iranian officials of accelerated arms production in the country are accurate.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has claimed for months that Iran’s defense industry was set back years after US and Israeli forces attacked the country around 30,000 times, striking over 2,600 missile and industrial military targets, during the hottest phase of the conflict in late February and early April, the article read.

But now both the IDF and Mossad intelligence agency acknowledge that they did not expect Tehran to restore its stockpiles of ballistic missiles and other key weapons so quickly, it said.

According to Israeli officials, the Iranians were not only able to swiftly access underground missile sites affected by the US-Israeli airstrikes, but also figured out other creative ways to rebuild their arsenals.

If Tehran keeps manufacturing between 100 to 300 missiles per month, it could become a prohibitive threat for Israel already in 2028, the paper suggested.

This possibility will likely influence broader Israeli strategy about when and if another attack on Iran might be needed, it added.

When approached for comment by the Jerusalem Post, an Israeli military spokesperson said that “from the nature of the issues at hand, it is not in our ability to specify concrete evaluations regarding the pace of the [Iranian] rehabilitation because giving such specifics could expose IDF sources and methods.”

“The IDF will continue to analyze developments and to be prepared accordingly,” the spokesman stressed.

While Israel has refrained from military action against Iran since June, the standoff between Washington and Tehran over the Strait of Hormuz continues.

The traffic in the key waterway, which accounts for a fifth of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas trade, has reduced to eight ships per day amid reports of more strikes on vessels, according to Reuters. It stood at between 130 and 140 ships daily before the conflict.

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the Americans had “total control” over the strait. Tehran denied the claim the next day, saying that the waterway remains “under Iran’s control and management” and will stay closed until the US changes its behavior.
