Not always, can be the result of damage while the antlers are growing. The earlier in the growth cycle the stranger the rack seem to turn out.

Been there, have seen the displays. Also have seen many atypical racks at sportsman shows, a few, very few, in the wild. Elk too, the weirdest one had a palmation like a moose on one side, the other side was normal, 5 points.

How about Hawaii, Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and Kilauea on the big island. The island is already cracked, would be a huge landslide and tsunami. Plus the eruption of 1 or more volcanoes.
