BTW, in the Middle East, the bottom of one's shoe is considered to be most foul and insulting. That's why putting your feet up on a desk, table facing another makes them boil, using your shoe as a weapon to hit someone is better than a fist to the nose (remember Iraqis hitting the fallen Saddam statue with their shoes and that hilarious gif of W ducking a thrown shoe at a press conference?).
