From the first Paramarines to the reconnaissance, special operations, intelligence, logistics, and other Marines of today, we recognize the bravery, commitment to mission, and legacy of all service members who jump from perfectly good airplanes.
Today, we salute them on National Airborne Day.

Air Force One is not a civilian airline. It’s a military mission. The crew executes a mission to move the president.
No one is forced to board. The press can fly commercial if they prefer. Stop complaining about the military doing military things.

They were on the plane when Trump secretly left. Here’s what they noticed.
The journalists traveling with the president had no idea he had switched planes due to a perceived threat from Iran. Now some say the operation has left them feeling deceived and questioning whether…

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Newly declassified “Jetsons Files” released today revealed that President John F. Kennedy became completely obsessed with “The Jetsons” after watching the cartoon shortly after its 1962 debut, reportedly calling it “the single greatest strategic document of the twentieth century.”
According to historians, JFK was stunned that the show took place exactly 100 years in the future — 2062 — and quietly ordered federal agencies to begin steering American innovation toward whatever gadgets appeared in the cartoon.
“We’re going to the moon… and inventing robot maids, video phones, and weird treadmill things,” Kennedy allegedly told advisors in a newly uncovered Oval Office recording.
The files claim billions in secret Cold War funding were redirected toward “Operation Rosie,” a covert initiative aimed at creating technologies featured in the show. Intelligence officials reportedly studied episodes frame-by-frame searching for futuristic breakthroughs.
Shockingly, in 2026, many of the show’s inventions have come to life, including: Zoom, FaceTime, flat-screen TVs, smart homes, robot surgery, AI doctors, digital news, mega-skyscrapers, and shorter/remote workweeks. One CIA memo from 1964 reportedly celebrated “encouraging progress toward little screens children stare at all day.”
The documents also identified Jetsons’ technologies “approaching operational readiness,” including flying cars, holographic communication, climate-controlled districts, and advanced telemedicine.
Officials admitted a few Jetsons’ predictions remain behind schedule, including floating cities and affordable space tourism “for anyone outside Congress and tech billionaires.”
Experts say the cartoon only missed three major inventions: smartphones, the internet, and social media. “Honestly, if the show had predicted TikTok, the entire project likely would’ve never launched,” said President Trump. “We’re lucky it didn’t.”
