The failure to form adult relationships, and continue to develop as couples into adulthood, is ground zero for the fracturing of civilization.
The thought is that we are creating an all encompassing system designed to govern every facet of human interactions. It is hubris, and it won't work, but it is driven by a decentralized system where nobody is actually directing the whole. Rather than actually creating a god, however, people will suffer greater and greater tragedy until they finally discover a better way of doing things.
A special shout out to those who are deliberately stirring the pot for whatever their personal reasons are, because there isn't a happy ending for such a path, regardless of how things work out.
And words can not possibly express the depth of the gratitude felt for those who have actually recognized the problem, and have been working tirelessly since time immemorial to address the issue.
