A no-name outfit called Median Strategies dropped a completely fabricated survey claiming Karen Bass was crushing her DSA opponent by 12 points.
Bass shared it. Media ran with it.
Then the “pollsters” admitted the whole thing was a short-term social experiment to test how easily unverified numbers spread when nobody checks the source.
Meanwhile the same progressive playbook that elevates figures like Zohran Mamdani keeps getting exposed as performance over substance. When the actual data doesn’t cooperate, suddenly you need manufactured numbers to keep the narrative alive for the faithful.
When your side has to invent polls to prop up the message, the product isn’t strong enough on its own……
