Oldfag anon here. Having grown up in the era of Three Mile Island I remember there were massive protests against the use of nuclear energy. So much so that the groups even protested against nuclear fuel sources being used in spacecraft like Voyager, Pioneer and others. With the big proliferation of nuclear energy under the Trump admin anon is wondering where the protests are? Oddly enough, I recently read that Three Mile Island was an intentional/controlled meltdown to sabotage and demonize nuclear energy as a whole. It's been a crazy life so far on this rock.

Been interested in topic since childhood 50+ years ago. No longer give two shits if aliens are real or not. I can't any tangible way that "knowing" will change my life one bit. However, a little "Mars Attacks" action would be quite entertaining.
