Watch the moment a US military transport plane lands in Moscow after making a highly unusual flight from Latvia into Russia.
The large Boeing C-17 Globemaster III touched down at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport at around 7am GMT this morning.
Flight tracking data shows the aircraft flew directly from Riga in Latvia, crossing into Russian airspace before landing in the capital.
However, reports from CBS News and Axios claim CIA Director John Ratcliffe was on board the aircraft.
Ratcliffe, who previously served as Donald Trump's Director of National Intelligence, now heads the CIA.
The reports have not established who Ratcliffe may be meeting in Moscow, or what the purpose of the visit is.
