Message to Q people:
Something needs to be done to reverse Hussein and companies horrid Cash for Clunkers program. They have destroyed the reliable shitbox market. Considering inflation and demand, you should be able to purchase a reliable automobile that gets you from A to B and that you can fix yourself excluding major repairs (clutch, engine replace, etc.) FOR $3000-4000 MAX. These cars may have dings, dont look flashy, but they drive well and are safe and reliable. Also, new modern American cars are mostly dogshit in my opinion. They look cheap, the design sucks, they make it impossible to repair yourself, they arent designed to last, there is too much dependence on electronics, there is too much regulation. 15 years ago I bought a Honda Accord V6 for $7000 that would smoke most 30k brand new cars today.
Im ranting a bit for sure, but cars today arent fun, arent repairable, and look like some brutalism demoralizer designer thought them up. You need to drop 20k at least for a used car with 100k miles thats fun and reliable now.
Furthermore, every millionaire I ever knew with the exception of one drove a shitbox and did stealth wealth. They recoiled at the thought of using capital for a car thats designed to get attention/status symbol and was also not reliable and easy to fix.
