Just last week, Wall Street was estimating Facebook’s liability in this suit could exceed a trillion dollars. So Facebook made basically zero concessions and made the whole thing go away for pennies and temporary pinky promises that it will try to poison your kids’ brains a little less for a few years.
The whole thing is a joke, and it’s now obvious most of the states involved only wanted a press release and some walking around money, as opposed to fundamental changes and true restitution for what Facebook has done to this country’s kids.
