ICE Begins Deporting Illegal Immigrants To Dangerous African Countries

Last year, illegal Cuban immigrant Yasmany Moreno de Armas was working and living in Florida. The Trump administration deported him and dozens of detainees to the Central African Republic, which is deeply impoverished, conflict-ridden and is known for cannibalism. He can’t leave because he doesn’t have the proper papers. Armas claims that he has no other criminal history other than illegally crossing into the US. He said that migrants who were deported alongside him are from countries across the globe, including Ecuador, Honduras, Serbia, Russia and Vietnam.

Under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) the US government has the right to deport illegal migrants with expediency. And technically, ICE isn’t required to take these migrants back to the countries they originally came from.

70 million Americans will be affected by the collapse of Social Security’s Old-Age and Survivors Insurance trust fund that is estimated to be depleted in late 2032, forcing an automatic 22% cut to retirement benefits unless Congress acts. The insolvency date was moved up by one year from the previous projection, indicating accelerating financial pressure on the unconstitutional program.

In 1940, when Social Security began, there were 159 workers for every one retiree; in 2026, the ratio is 2.7 to one.

The 2032 projection is easy to misunderstand. The OASI Trust Fund isn’t projected to “go under.” Rather, its reserves are likely to be depleted. After 2032, ongoing program income would only cover about 78% of scheduled OASI benefits.
