I've not been planefagging regularly and was out this morning picking up new computer-spectacles (wonderful to now see the whole screen with single focus!), but wanted to check and see if I agreed with the assessment that a TON of military aircraft and a TON of civilian choppers are aloft.

YES! The numbers are quite high and unusual in my experience.

I don't know what it means, and I tend to have a normalcy bias when planefagging (looking for things to be "normal"), but now I admit: this is abnormal.
