God works on people in different times and in different ways. It is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. We don't know if Trump would answer that question the same way today as he did at that time. So I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I am hopeful that Trump is like a modern day Cyrus and that God is using him to thwart the one world government once again, just as He has throughout history.

That said, I have always suspected that the end time deception would include a false "judgment" in which the devil will throw his earthly minions under the bus in order to deceive God's people into worshiping him as God. Is it possible that is what we are now witnessing? Yes, it is. It won't work on the elect though. None of Christs true sheep will be lost because they will flee from the voice of the stranger. I will continue to trust in my Lord and Savior Jesus and watch carefully where this ends up going.
