NEW YORK — A United Airlines flight from Washington to Rhode Island was diverted to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York Tuesday.
United flight 4697 was diverted due to smoke being reported in the cockpit.
The plane landed safely and all passengers were evacuated.
According to PIX11, first aid was given to up to ‘three people with minor ailments.’
The cause of the reported smoke was unclear.
